soloPerfect for Berlin trip. Especially for Indians as 2 Indian restaurants are just beside the Hotel. Fantastic in one word s the description I would give.

I wish to let people know that this hotel is a 3 star one and not 4 stars as advertised online. The original building is good but the annexe where most of the people end up is poor. The biggest problem is air conditioning. It looks like the hotel is all geared up for the winter months with a nice big radiator and double glazing but nothing for the warm summer months. When I stayed there the day time temperatures were 28 degrees Celsius and night time about 18 Celsius. With no air-conditioning there was no option but to leave the windows open sacrificing privacy and security. My room was on the first floor so security was a big issue. Plus with windows open there is no peace at night. Plus most smokers com out in the yard to smoke and that really annoys non smokers like me. Was very disappointed with this lack of air conditioning. Breakfast spread was good but the hot option were only scrambled or boiled eggs. I have seen much better spreads in hotels in this star ratings. It is centrally located for most public transport systems like the buses, U and S Bahn trains and even the RE ones. It is quite far from Schoenefeld airport where most low cost airlines come to.
