Stayed again at the titanic chaussee berlin. As always, friendly welcome, clean and modern room. Breakfast was excellent for the price. Room rate also very good compared to other hotels. Will stay here again in the future.

Excellent stay, very comfortab....
When I walked into the Titanic Hotel I was very pleasantly surprised and pleased I had chosen this peaceful oasis near the centre of Berlin. The room and bed was nicely decorated, very comfortable and very clean. The staff were great and helpful with a nice quick check in. There was a big football match on with football fans staying in the hotel and yet our stay was so peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast was an array of different dishes and items to suit every taste and the staff were warm and welcoming, a lovely way to start the day. The Spa was accessed away from the public in a private spa lift and the staff in the spa went above and beyond to be helpful, a credit to the hotel (I even asked their names because they were so lovely so a big thank you to Aycan, Igli and Emel) and the pool was great to exercise in. Cleanliness was A+. There is easy transport options just 1 minute walk from the hotel which will take you all over the city, coffee shops, bread/cake shops, Edeka supermarket (better than any British supermarket I've seen) Subway, a beer garden, all pretty much on the doorstep so food choices are excellent. The only thing I would add to the hotel are face cloths in the room as there weren't any although I do not know if this is normal in a German hotel. All in all a wonderful stay in a lovely hotel. I cannot seem to give 5 stars for this review on the service, value or location (just won't register on the page) but I definately would!!!

Great hotel for Berlin visit
Berlin is an interesting place to visit with all the history of the place , we had five nights at this hotel and enjoyed the visit immensely. It’s a 15 minute walk to the tourist areas but you go past small restaurants and bars that seemed good value and quality. The hotel breakfast was excellent , the room comfortable and the bar one that you were glad to get back to each night. We didn’t visit the pool which you have to pay for , mainly through lack of time.
The underground station (natural history museum stop )is 50 metres away and terminates at the Tegel? Airport so no need for taxis

Titanic, sort out your Spa Man....
I cannot say anything negative about the hotel it was lovely, clean, comfortable beds, quiet and right next to a U-Bahn. Perfect. A big reason why we chose the hotel was for the spa. I had read up and accepted that there would be a charge, I even negotiated a lower rate. ( a little tip for you all).
However, I visited only once. It started with a dip in the pool. My goodness it was cold. I saw a few icebergs floating by! After I decided that enough was enough, we got out. This was just after it would seem the Spa Managers friends arrived. They were loud, three were fully dressed including outside shoes around the pool. One then got in the pool fully dressed! One of the spa staff started to say they needed to stop, only for the Spa Manager to cut across him and say that this behaviour was ok! This is a spa - somewhere for people to relax, the guy obviously was disinterested in real customers.
They then, again fully clothed, went to the textile free sauna and steam room area, giggling at what they saw and had no intention of abiding by the rules.
I moved to the terrace for some quiet time but thought I needed some water. I went to the spa reception where this manager now was, I asked him for water in English, he made out he did not understand me. I then said wasser. He then decided he understood and told me to wait. He then went off and served another friend, judging by the way he greeted him.
Eventually he returned to me picked up a used water bottle went out the back and filled it expecting me to drink from that.
This guy has never been to a charm school, should not be in charge of any form of customer facing job, he did not fit the establishment at all.
I was further disappointed when I raised a complaint, when the front desk receptionist apologised and confirmed that this was not the first time this type of complaint had been lodged about the same guy. Titanic sort this out, he is seriously damaging your reputation!!
By the way, on check out we were billed for three days in the spa, which was totally incorrect as the first experience was the last and the original cost of the poor spa experience had already been deleted from our account, when we had originally made the complaint.
It would have been nice to give your hotel a 5 star rating but I actually wanted to give you one star based on this experience until my wife reminded me the hotel was so nice!

Rude and unprofessional staff
I recently stayed at this hotel. I have never ever experienced such rude and unprofessional staff. When we arrived at the hotel at 9 PM in the evening, they did not pay any attention to us and we had to wait for 15 min, even though 2 staff were standing at the counter. When we finally were served we were informed that we have to pay 180 euros for our 2 tiny dog for 3 nights stay. When I said there was nothing mentioned in the booking process they said it's not their fault. I asked to cancel the reservation which then their response was I should be calling booking.com, as they could do nothing from their end. I spoke to booking which then tried to call the hotel. The hotel did not even answer the call from their end and ignored it on purpose. I was forced to stay in the hotel and pay the fee. There was no apology at any point from the hotel. It's extremely disappointing for a hotel with a 4 star rating and the price you pay.
Further, you have to pay for everything extra in the hotel (gym, pool, room service...) All I can say is that I would never stay there again.
