Budget stay in a prime location

I stayed here for three nights. It was a business cum leisure trip. These days here were my leisure days. Because the about:berlin Hotel is centrally located I had an easy access to the shops, drug stores. The biggest shopping mall of Europe KaDeWe is located just opposite the about:berlin Hotel. Europa-Zentrum, a mall is located just beside the about:berlin Hotel. The Berlin zoo is a few minutes walk from the about:berlin Hotel. I totally enjoyed my stay. I could have easy access to wi-fi also. I would definitely revisit the about:berlin Hotel.
Centrally located hotel & clean room

Hotel is bang in the middle of the shopping area. It is very close to the zoo and sightseeing spots. Not much facilities in the about:berlin Hotel (no AC, no microwave, etc), however the rooms were clean and neat. It is also disappointing that the rooms were allotted only at 3pm, which is pretty late for a check-in. Overall, good for a weekend stay.
Good base to stay

Located in the heart of West Berlin. Staff was really friendly. Very good security. Room was huge, with a nice balcony. Bathroom was in a good condition. WiFi was strong and never cut out, not once. Free bottle of water. Bus, and trains in all directions within 5-6 min walk from the about:berlin Hotel.
