Friendly Staff and Great Locat....
Found this hotel quite by accident after a nightmare experience in an Airbnb we had to leave on short notice. We could not have found a better place! We were in Paris for a long (2 month) stay and so a comfortable quiet place was absolutely important. The front desk staff (Hamid and his son, Meyer) did everything they could to accommodate us. They made us feel at home and most welcome.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. After we settled in, they continued to give us the utmost courtesy and service. I’d even say we are becoming well acquainted!
The quartier is amazing! A true Parisian neighborhood with cheese, fruit & vegetable, butcher shops all very close by. Also 4 boulangers/pâtisserie within blocks....all very good! A movie theater too. The Métro is two steps away and the 69 bus is the bus to take if you are a tourist, but don’t want to spend big €€ on the tour busses, as it goes by the Louvre, the Seine and ends up at the Eiffel Tower.
You can’t go wrong staying here at this hotel.

Clean and good spot
Your just outside main Paris away from all the busy streets! Just by a metro only a few stops to centre so perfect location! Hotel was very clean! We didn't have food here so can't comment on that but all in all we had a very pleasant stay! And for a decent price in Paris.

Convenient location and friend....
forget about what they say about french people not liking to speak to you in english.
That was 10 years ago, this is a new generation working now and they all speak english no problem. We are from Argentina but know no french, so we always speak english when we travel
The staff in this hotel is really friendly and spoke good english. Super helpful with whatever questions we had and gave us really nice tips.
Ask for the apart suites, which are right across the street. Spacious, and comfortable.
They have everything (microwave, washing machine, coffee maker, you name it)
Gambetta is kind of in the outskirt of Paris, but is close to the bus station and thats why we chose that area (we took a bus from London to Paris)
Gambetta though is very convinient to get around, buses and metros are right there outside the hotel. You have local shops for wahtever you need and can get around to and from downtown very easy and not expensive.
A bus will take you to the Louvre and all along the river. It starts its round in Gambetta, so you cant go wrong.
Another line will take you from Eiffel Tower directly to the hotel. Super convinient.
Ask the front desk guy who is amazing.
We got there super early (8am) my wife was sick, and he did everything in his power to give us the room by 10 am (people were checking out that day) and he was able to accomplish it.
We tipped him and he didnt want to take it. Super nice and totally deserved the tip.

Service without fault...
A quiet, unpretentious, hotel, very well-situated for walks through Père Lachaise cemetery, walks into central Paris, transport (métro, buses, motorway), restaurants.
The rooms are ok and requests for a quiet room (sometimes essential in Paris) are easily accommodated, although perhaps on a higher floor and in a smaller room, so be sure to indicate all your needs at once.
Private, secure parking locally is possible through the hotel. Breakfast is correct (excellent croissant/bread), albeit basic. An alternative is one of the many bakeries offering croissant and coffee for about €2.

We booked this online and weren't too sure what to expect but we were very pleasantly surprised. It is great value for money and the staff are what made it even more special. They went out of their way to make sure that we knew where the local bus and metro stations were and gave us the number of the best bus to see the sites of Paris on our drive in. The rooms were clean and comfortable even though they are small by American standards. This is in a charming part of Paris within 45 minutes bus ride of all the attractions.
