An experience to remember
Jaganmay Goswami
Me and my wife stayed in this home Stay for two nights during our Stay in Paro and the experience turned out to be one of its own kind. The home stay is owned and managed by Mr. Nima Singye and his wife Tserin and this couple left no stones unturned to make our stay memorable. While taking care of each and every need of his guests round the clock, Mr. Nima is also working as a vice principal in a local school. The best part of staying in this home stay was the warm hospitality and fun conversations with the couple. The owners including their 8 year old kid Jammu made us feel like a part of their family and we were allowed to have a 1st hand experience of Bhutanese lifestyle, they even accompanied us during our sightseeing in and Around Paro. After all the sight seeing and curvy roads that leads to motion sickness we tried their in house hot stone Bath and what a way to end our trip that was. We could literally watch stars from our bathtub while having our drink. They put some local herbs in that water which reduces all your muscle pain and also relax your body. Anyone who visit this place must try this traditional Bath, it was really out of the world experience. At last I would like to wish all the best to Mr. Nima with his expansion plans (4 brand new rooms are coming up by next month as he said) and also for his future life. Whoever wants to experience Bhutan in its pure naturally beautiful form should try this Home Stay, you may not get all modern amenities generally found in modern Paro Village View Home Stay Lodges but the warmth we experienced here is nowhere else to be found.
My home in Paro

We visited Paro on the 12th of October 2019. I booked Paro Village Home Stay online. The View is amazingly beautiful, just like the hospitality of Mrs and Mr Nima, their charming and adorable son Jamo, Rinchen and his wife. They treated us like their own family members and provided us with the best possible facilities. The Bhutanese dinner was awesome. All ingredients are hand plucked from their own fields and garden and are hundred percent organic. We enjoyed a six course delicious dinner. Breakfast is complementary as also tea. It had been a wonderful experience to stay amidst the apple orchard, enjoy the spectacular view of the lush green fields, Valley and hills from the view points with a cup of steaming tea. To us it is a home away from home. If you want to enjoy a peaceful bliss, away from the rustles and bustle of the city, then this is the place for sure. Paro is never fully beautiful without Nima's family. Would want to come back to this place again and again. Nima and entire family, you guys really rock, cheers.

Took 2 rooms and a living room and 2 attached bath for three adults with basic facilities, tv, water filter, water heater, cutlery etc. We're provided soft Home slippers and bathroom slippers. Great host but understood little hindi and no english. Great cook fantastic food from her organic kitchen 1 dal 1 salad 2 sabzi and a non veg gravy dish good enough to feed six people, fantastic preparation Home food. Per head. The views from the bedrooms were to die for absolutely breathtaking. Bedding and bed quality equal to the best of the best in the world. Sleep quality 100 m. Breakfast simple but heartwarming served under an umbrella overlooking Valley. Stunning. Would definitely recommend to fellow travelers. Definitely value for money.

Me and. My wife stayed here from the 9th to the 11th of December 2019. Hands down the best place that we stayed in Bhutan. The cottage we stayed in was spacious and clean. The rooms were well insulated with heaters. Authentic Bhutanese dinner was served which was absolutely delicious. Mr. Nima and his family's hospitality made us feel welcome and very much at home. The breakfast was a little basic but we could make do with it. Finally, the scenery outside was beautiful. We did not regret our decision to stay away from the center of Paro Town. Too bad we couldn't enjoy it to the fullest because of the cold weather outside:)
One of the best homestay that I have ever stayed!

This is by far the best homestay that you can stay when you are in Paro. The location itself is excellent with a good viewpoint of the hills, monasteries, valley, fields. And the best part of the homestay is the family that runs it. Mrs. and Mr. Nima are the friendliest and loveliest people ever. They will make you feel like home and more. The food is excellent and the chat with them will be always memorable. I must say, my next visit to Paro will be incomplete without staying here.

(my stay 16june-18june2019) it's good to stay here. Ambiance was very good with beautiful scenic beauty. You will get the warmth of Bhutanese culture. You can have a traditional hot stone therapy too, which you may desperately required after coming down from tiger nest. Both nina and Tshering the owners was really good and friendly. Moreover they are upcoming with more rooms.

The Home Stay is a bit secluded and away from Paro city. Room is basic. Views of village are good. Service is good. Overall would stay elsewhere next time we are visiting Paro.
