Rema Resort

It was good staying in Rema resort , paro. Staff is very co operative and good. Very beautiful fruits and vegetables. Only room towels and napkin provided was not very clean.

A good locale and close to town yet close to nature. Hospitality is very good and staff are excellent.

My stay at rema was just another level, aesthetic rooms, vibrant interiors and wonderful hosts. I have to say that the best part of my stay was the town view from my room, i could here the flowing river water and that made everything so calming. The staff over there was so friendly and helping. This is where i will stay if i happen to visit bhutan again.

Location - excellent food - average. The food needs variety and taste. Service- varies. Poor- any minor change from the menu served, they levy extra charge. Good- room service is prompt. Hygiene - the towels are not very fresh and bathroom does not smell very fresh, maybe due to poor ventilation in the bathroom. Amenities: the resort needs to keep a luggage weighing scale for international travellers. The property has been an orchard and farm house. Morning walks are good within the resort.

Indian food was really bad and slightly expensive. The staff is not cooperative. They hardly listen to what you say. You ask for something, they pack something else. We requested them to pack a couple of breads for us coz we had to leave early, but we ended up not leaving early. We told them we’ll join the buffet, but they said you’ll have to pay even though my room was inclusive of the breakfast. So not a great experience food wise overall.

Rema resort staff service is par excellence. We visited them on our anniversary eve and they decorated our room. Any request was always quickly honored and answered. Location is also driving distance from main market. View from room and resort are lovely.

We stayed for two nights and it was really pleasant. The staff were very friendly and all amenities were provided. We also got a good view of paro river, fort and mountains from our cottage. Main market is at a walking distance of 2km from the resort.

Breakfast buffet food was not good. Otherwise also the food is not good. Staff is good. Hotel rooms are good. You would see mostly indians around.

Wonderful place with equally wonderful people. Peaceful and serene although a bit farther away than most hotels

Beautiful location with an amazing staff. Loved every minute of my stay. Definitely recommend

People are very nice and positive. The dinning hall is very attractive but the staircase is scary particularly for aged people.

Room where i stayed had no balcony neither can’t open the windows

The hotel interior ambience is very good and comfortable worth visiting this hotel.

The stay was beautiful! the location and the ambience everything. And the staff were very polite, courteous and greeted well. Definitely will recommend!

Had read good reviews and booked this hotel. So generally whatever hotels i booked though mm t were mostly decent. So didn't have a doubt. To my shock when we entered the room. It had a strong odour. Bad smell as if it was not used for ages. When we went to the balcony the chairs and the floor were all filled with dust. Not cleaned for ages looked like. Even the lobby looked the same. Also hot water was an issue. 50 litres of hot water they said will come at a time. Which one person can take bath. If the 2nd person has to take bath with hot water need to wait for an hour. We did that also. After an hour my husband went to take bath. Little hot water came and then cold water started coming suddenly. Which was not acceptable as the weather was too cold. Around, 6. To 7 degree. It becomes really difficult to take shower with cold water. I gave all feedback to hotel people. They didn't really feel bad or were surprised. But they cleaned my room next day also put some air freshner. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Pls don't book. There are multiple choices. Book something else

We stayed for a short stay of two days, had a great time. The place was great with River view and good heated rooms

Very nicely located resort. Friendly staff. Beautiful view of Paro river and mountains. Just a 25-minute nice walk from Paro market. WiFi needs improvement though.

The Resort is located just outside the Town, not too far. It is a beautiful 10 minutes walk along the River. The best part about the Resort the warm staff that will try their best to make your stay comfortable. The food was really good and reasonably priced too.

Pros: Resort was beautiful and the staff was also very helpful. Wooden rooms were amazing, and we liked the heater mattress concept. It was very neat and clean. Morning tea was amazing! Cons: Resort was far from city and there was nothing to do in the evening. We did not like the food, it was very spicy despite giving instructions not to make it spicy at all.

Hopefully, will come again, food was interesting
