It was an average experience. The price does not justify the facilities. The unprofessional attitude of the staff was visible. There was no welcome drink offered nor some basic things were provided unless you tell them . The food was below average. But I must say the drivers employed for pick up facilities were well behaved. The room was tidy there is no complain from that angle.

A Mixed Stay: Superb Comfort Undermined by a Major Flaw
I recently stayed at this hotel during a period of very cold weather, and the absolute highlight of my visit was the room's heating system. It was genuinely superb. Even as the temperatures outside plummeted, the room remained a perfectly warm and cozy sanctuary. The system was powerful, responsive, and easy to control, which I was incredibly grateful for. After a long day out in the cold, returning to such a comfortably heated space was a true pleasure and a major positive for the establishment. My experience with the food was more in the middle. I only had one meal during my stay, which was a dinner ordered via room service. The service was efficient, but the meal itself was decidedly average. It wasn't bad, but it was entirely unmemorable and lacked any sort of "wow" factor. It was functional and filled a need, but it didn't leave me with any desire to try more of the hotel's culinary offerings. Unfortunately, the positives of the room were almost completely overshadowed by the biggest downside of my stay: the washroom. It was, frankly, a mess in terms of design and function. The basin seemed to be poorly shaped or installed, as it spilled water onto the counter with even careful use. The shower, however, was the main culprit. It was clear the design was deeply flawed, as there was no effective water containment. After every shower, water would spill out and cover the entire washroom floor, turning it into a slippery and unpleasant puddle.

Everything was far far better then our expectations...I would rate 5 out of 5 for hospitality...Not only facilities but also the behaviour of the staff is amazing who made us comfortable in all the possible ways they can.

The Grand Mamta Hotel Srinagar review
Hotel Grand Mamta in Srinagar is a very good hotel. They provide all levels of comfort, as well as tourist packages hotel/airport pickupand drop, including a driver-cum-guide at very nominal rate . Mr. Tariq was our guide-cum-driver during my trip; he is a really nice person. So, if you plan to visit Srinagar, you should try this hotel.

Good Stay
I had a wonderful stay here! The staff were courteous and helpful, going above and beyond. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and a perfect retreat. The food was delicious, and the value for money was excellent considering the facilities on offer. Although the property is undergoing expansion, it didn't impact our stay. The location is prime, right on the main road connecting to Dal Lake. Overall, a great choice for a comfortable and hassle-free stay!

Our Kashmir trip was truly memorable!
We stayed at The Grand Mamta (Near Dal Lake) and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were polite and very helpful. The restaurant was excellent, and the food was very tasty — we really enjoyed every meal. Kashmir is truly a paradise on earth. The people are humble, friendly, and kind. From a safety point of view, it is absolutely safe for travel, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. Highly recommend The Grand Mamta and a visit to Kashmir for anyone planning their next holiday!

The Grand Mamta – Truly the Best Stay Ever!
I recently stayed at The Grand Mamta and honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The rooms were clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The food was delicious — especially the local dishes — and the staff were super friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The gym was well-equipped, and the overall hospitality made me feel completely at home. The location is perfect too — just 5 minutes from the famous Dal Lake and about 10 minutes from Lal Chowk. Everything about my stay was amazing and unforgettable. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Srinagar!

Break fast buffet needs lot of attention seriously. 60 % of the claims of services did not exist( 24 hr cafe , spa, swimming pool, gym etc etc , reception desk not manned after 11.00 pm to say a few. Air conditioning stops at night, power outage , waiting for generators to switch on etc etc)
