Heevan Retreat

The stay was comfortable. The tourist rush was minimal in Gulmarg. The lighting in the bathroom could have been better. Limited menu in the breakfast but the servings were generous. All the staff was super nice and helpful.

The place was very cold and refused turn on heat for a while as they had only few guests. The dining room was do cold and were shivering while eating our food. Later after do much complaining they gave small room heater. This was off season but the prices for the room was extremely high. They only had 2 rooms in use. You should not have charged us that much on this hotel

Hotel is good , rooms are good, staff is very good and good service great place to stay in Gulmarg.

The room was average and small...we had booked orchard view room supposedly..but no orchard to view at all but a concrete wall next to the window....the head end of the bed was adjacent to the bathroom door.... requested for upgrade but didn't get ......no approach road to the hotel at all...approach road full of boulders and slush.......food not much variety....

Heevan retreat location is far from market and valley. Staff is cooperative and food is yummy

Everything was excellent from including room service to the food. Specially if you are a vegetarian you will the food here.

Amazing property with very good ambience overall. Very warm feeling throughout. Would like to stay again.

Though I will consider staying at the time property again, I do have mixed feelings about my stay. Since I was travelling with my mother, I requested for a room on the ground floor and they did oblige to my request and provided us a room on the ground floor. The restaurant staff, travel desk, security and concierge were lovely. But the housekeeping staff and the reception staff behaved as though they were doing me a favour even when asked to replace the coffee mugs. While checking out, the guy in the reception tried to overcharge me. But when I made him calculate, it was close to 3,000 less than what he mentioned. No explanation or apology for extra amount mentioned ! However the property as such is at a good location, quite close to the gondola. They have central heating so the entire property is quite warm throughout. Our room had a great view and was quite spacious. Good Wi-Fi connection. Food was decent but slightly oily for my taste.

Room was very small...bed also small and not in good condition .... 2night stay kiya mene both night dinner buffet liya .... Not worthed aalo shimla mirch me aalo kache the Manchurian me balls bhi kache the

Its amazing property with great views and amazing staff. Shaiq bhai at front desk was really helpful and room service helped us with all our requests in minimal times. I would very much want to revisit the property everytime i am back here.

The location of the hotel is on a small hill near the gondola. The staff of the hotel is excellent in service. We were stuck outside gulmarg in heavy snow and they rescued us and helped us to adjust in another property of their free of cost. The rooms are very well heated and you will not feel cold at all. Rooms are quite small but this is typical of gulmarg. We found the food to be tasty though priced a bit higher (again typical of gulmarg. Only small negative for this hotel is noise insulation is not good between rooms.

Rooms are spacious, clean, centrally heated, friendly staff. Close to gandola! a perfect stay at gulmarg!

Overall hospitality and stay was excellent staffs were very cooperative and helpful when needed must visit place for stay to have an wonderful experience at gulmarg

Hands down, this is one of the best resorts to stay in gulmarg. The location is just perfect facing the scenic mountains. Mr. Imran general manager and mr. Irshad housekeeping went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and memorable.

Over-rated hotel in most aspects. Food is 0 out of 5. Rooms are 1 out of 5. Staff 3 out of 5. Restaurant team really need to learn making masala tea. Or stirring egg well to ensure chilli or salt is properly mixed and not all of it at one place in omlette. It's really basic. Politeness and courteousness was missing. Bathroom was stinking. We had to change room just because of bathroom. Even the location isn't so great.

Staffs were very rude and service was not good. They give discarded cots and house keeping staff behave as if we are beggars. Overall it was not a good experience.

I was disappointed with my stay. The room was quite small, and the mattress was uncomfortable. The heating system did not work properly, and despite multiple calls to reception, the issue was not resolved. The service overall was poor, and the food quality was average at best. Considering the price, the experience was not satisfactory and fell below expectations.

Hotel was good. But too over price. We have booked 4 rooms. . Heater was not working properly in all rooms. Breakfast was good
