Hotel Snowland Nearby Dal Lake Srinagar

Not that great experience.. power was going on and off evry minute too scary..

The hotel is located on a small street than is very dark in the evening and night does not feel safe at all . The front desk took only 2 hours 30 mintues to bring the tv remote and the . The in room dining was different and with exceptional service brought glasses with 90 minutes . The heater control in the room was controlled by the front desk because they thought we will not be able to control the temperature of our room . At night because the outside temperature was minus 3 degrees the switched the heat to around 35 degrees . So kind of them to make us feel like jaiselmer in kashmir . The hotel management thought giving an option to turn off air conditioning in the room itself would be too mainstream . So we had to open windows and turn on the fan just to counter the sahara wind . As an incing on the cake there were children continuously ringing the bell and running made the waiting for the tv remote and glasses even more exciting , but the children were taken care of after complaining to hotel staff only after 6 times . Over all this hotel was the the nazar battu or kala tika on the overall fabulous kashmir trip .

The stay is very amazing. Got an amazing room upgrade option to suite room. Special mention to mr. Saleem and ms. Uznain for taking care of all the needs in very polite and decent way. Staff was veru courteous and kind. Recommend this stay to the upcoming tourists to srinagar

Hotel is located close to dal lake. I had booked the room for 15k+ for 1 night. It had few non operational sockets and a broken mirror. The heating was centralized and kept the room warm. However the washroom water was not quite hot and was on the warmer side. The gym is very congested and the swimming pool is not temperature controlled. Both myself and my wife got a stomach infection from eating dinner at their restaurant. They were helpful in arranging medicine and extended our checkout by 3 hours. Overall, the experience was not quite pleasant.

I visited the place in december so i was expecting room heaters and hot water to be functional but it was challenging had to call multiple time to get this thing and it was a waste of time. Food was also not good at all.

Staying snow land was our best decision. The staff is very polite and co-operative and they are always available when you need them. Property is so beautiful and well maintained. Highly recommended to all.

The property is very well maintained. The staff is courteous and helpful. The room is quite spacious with a big bathroom. The food was delicious and well prepared. A good place to stay in srinagar near the dal lake.

Though the hotel is quite nice and dal lake is merely a 5 minute walk, the road to dal lake is very trashy. Just from a hotel perspective, they have comfortable, spacious rooms. Staff is nice and friendly, breakfast spread is quite good, food is good too. It’s off the main road, so there’s no “view” possible. Hope the hotel can push authorities to have garbage free approach roads.

Staff very friendly and hospitable. Clean and tidy. Bathrooms are well done and spacious.

Hotel was nice but service was not up to the mark. Buffet price was very high. Nd it was not worth it. Their restaurant manager was a bit arrogant. Overall i wud give 4/10

It was a rather pathetic experience especially for the price we paid. Executive suite was nice but everything else was way below expectation. Food choices were minimal, quality was bad, untrained staff who were unable to identify the dishes kept in the buffet, no tags to help either. Very rude waiters in the restaurant. Overall, the experience was bad. Had much better stay and food at 1/3rd the price in another hotel in srinagar.

First of all the hotel is inside a colony and if you're expecting some view then don't. We checked in the hotel at 5pm and we found out that the beds were having hairs and it seems like they have not cleaned the bedsheet and blanket. The hand towel in washroom was dirty, so for a 4 star hotel this was not expected. Please arrange the room properly and do some hygiene work.
