I was having a very bad experience, there is no parking, no lift, your luggage has to be picked up and taken to your room, there is no staff for room service. Please do not book.

Himalayan resort
The hotel was really beautiful with valuable rooms. The staff was helpful and the ambience was good. The hotel had a sundeck with a truly amazing view. One could also see the snow capped mountain tip of the himalayas.

Excellent Stay
Nice staying at this hotel. Location is near to the town. Service was good. Room was nice with bed warmer and hot water all the time. Value for money. Go for it

Stay was okay but the location is very disappointing. Also rooms were not very maintained. Bathroom door was broken.

Good Stay
It was a very pleasant place to stay. Good rooms and staff with all necessary facility. Just that the hotel was located a bit far than i had imagined. Otherwise perfect place to stay.

Do not recommend for stay
familyThe resort looks good from outside. The interior of the property like rooms, almirahs, taps, etc are very old. The used towel was kept when we checked-in. The minimal amenities or toiletries are there in the room. The water heater is old one so it is slow and you have to wait. Don't expect the staff to pick or drop the luggage from/to the car as they don't care. The breakfast menu is fixed and only 2-3 options. Your food order may also get rejected even if you order within given time of 7:30 to 9:30 as they are not much bothered about it. Food taste is ok. Tea/coffee is not good. If you are leaving early like 7:45 then you cannot get breakfast as it will be served only after 8 am. Room cleaning is not done properly, we hardly find any difference after coming back to room. Since the rooms are not kept properly ventilated by keeping the windows open so there's always a smell.

The hotel is decent for the price i paid. However, there are some facilities which are not available like intercom, 24*7 hot water as geyser takes up to 20 mins to heat the water. The rooms are clean but the washroom is not very clean. It is situated a little off road from the mall road so you have to walk the steep hill road to reach the hotel.

We checked into himalayan muscatel resort as a family, the hotel staff was courteous and respectful, the breakfast was nice. There was no room heater available was the only issue we faced otherwise it was a budget hotel may say value for money.

Poor Stay
Found the property in mmp. At first the room and washroom provided was just opposite to images shown while booking. Second the wash-basin of bathroom was fully chocked. On complaining they changed my room shifted to a different room. And now the second room's geyser was not working. We had to take shower with chilled water in the the weather of november. Not at all recommended.
