Summit Norling Resort & Spa

The room had a pungent smell, water coming out of the wash basin was stinking, the wash room was smelling like hell.

Room is specious but need maintenance in washroom. Food is costly and taste is okay. Location is approx 7 kms from MG Marg and road conditions not good. Staff is supportive. Overall pleasant experience.

Had a lovely experience at the property. *Pros:* Location is also good. The views from the balcony are beautiful. *Cons:* The property is understaffed. There was a powercut at night and the generator was not working. The whole property had just the guard and the receptionist, who could not fix the generator the whole night.

1. Its not 5star hotel , not sure even if its eligible for 3 star. If you are looking for luxury stay experience, DO NOT book this hotel. 2. Property is too bad and 0 empathy towards customers complaint . Reaching out MMT for resolution also utter waste of time .

Rooms are nice, and blankets and bed sheets were clean and comfortable. However, the towels had many spots. Breakfast quality was average with very limited items, and the service was also poor. Overall, stay was okay but improvements in food and service are needed.

Good Room condition. Variety in Breakfast. View from Room is Good if not excellent, Staffs are very Cooperative like Ms Simran in reception management or Mr Pushpak in Restaurant management. Maintenance of Gym and few other areas/amenities need attention. Overall a Good stay.

Room not oke as per the advertisement view is not good . food quality & service not good . I suggest not to bool this properly .. lots of good hotels have at gantok

Good location and great view from the room. The staff was really courteous and helpful. The food was also good.

Everything was excellent . Its resort , so far from MG road. To go MG road you have to hire taxi which is costly. But you can take share taxi from out side hotel.

this is a good peaceful resort but around 5 kms away from MG Marg which takes approx 20 mins drive. We stayed in the King Executive view room with the Balcony which is located in a new building. The room is good & spacious but one cannot sit at balcony due to lots of flying insects . We booked a buffet dinner but were given ala carte with limited choice. Buffet Breakfast was good but with limited choice. Reception & Staff services were average. Improvement required in Room services, There should be some arrangements of light snacks with Tea in the evening. Extra curricular activities are limited considering as a resort.

Resort is very beautiful, rooms are good. Only concern is the distance from the main town . It is very far from the main mkt like mg road. Otherwise its very good. Food is also ok type, they should give local dance and theme for the guest

Stay at Summit Norling was very pleasant and refreshing. Hotel staff and particularly Kitchen staff were very cordial and helpful.

This property is located in outskirts and the staff service is slow more over no mountain view from your room and the breakfast is not so amazing

Staff behaviour and attitude excellent. Room was good too. But food was not upto the mark. Last time we visited 3 yrs back, we loved the place and food. The items were also freshly cooked. Im sorry to say that this time it had lost its charm. Food was tasteless and undercooked.

I got the property through make my trip. Location is good, sightseeing places are near by. Food is tasty. Staff members are well behaved & supportive. Overall ambience & ambience is amazing. Even, one of the hotel manager provided me his laptop for my personal work.
