A beautiful, clean and aesthetically built resort in the wilderness with very polite and mild mannered staff. But with so few guests arriving in the resort, they have to sustain with minimum and limited inventory. Hence if you are willing to adjust with select food choices, a lot of insects passing by your room to say hi and serenity of nature - do come here, you won’t feel like leaving.....

This is easily on of the best Resorts around Gangtok..although slightly far from the main city, it is relatively nearer for your trip to Nathula pass..it is located at an absolutely peaceful and serene location amongst mountains..the rooms are clean, spacious and well maintained. The staff is extremely courteous and friendly especially Ms Doma and Mr Suraj. Food served is delicious as well. All in all , one will thoroughly enjoy their stay here , far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. I would surely go back here, if I visit Gangtok.

Likes: View from room was beautiful, room amenities at par. Dislikes: Visited the place in May, they were low in staff resulting in too much delay in services. Food is also very average. Had some complementary services included in the package like Hi tea, trek etc. but never got them.

Located at a steep incline, it offers a panoramic view of the mountains and provides endless trails for the fitness enthusiasts! the rooms are neat and cozy and you wake up to the chirping of cicada. The service was truly impeccable and highly customised. Special mention to doma, rahul and mrinmay. Don't forget to indulge yourself in a deep tissue massage offered by sangeeta! highly recommend!

familyWe had a lovely stay at song-fum retreat gangtok. Great rooms. Beautiful views from balcony. Enchanting view of monastery nearby. Food was made as per our requirement and it was tasty enough. Easy 20 mins drive from mg marg, just inform reception for a car. Dheeren is the manager and he took good care of all guests. Restaurant staff is very co-operative. Would love to be back here.

familyMany thanks to mr dheeren pradhan and team for the warmest hospitality, great room and washroom decor, good in room amenities and lovely restaurant with even more delicious food and its quality. Lil more colder then gangtok town but overall very nicely made 15 room resort. Kudos to all departments, special thanks to didi doma in restaurant always on her foot to serve delicious food.
