The staff at the hotel is very rude and unprofessional. The services are Super slow, nothing is served before 2 hours that includes even TEA. We had booked an extra mattress for a kid which was given at 12:30 AM midnight which was a big hassle for us and inconvenient as well. Rooms were okay, everything else was below average. Book at your own risk.

Good experience of having stay in Sikkim. Nice place . good view. will recommend it for other also. just a little bit far away from the main city

After a long 7-hour journey to Gangtok, I was greeted with a warm and professional welcome by the staff, whose hospitality immediately set the tone for my stay. To my pleasant surprise, I was upgraded to a premium room that was both spacious and elegantly comfortable. The spa experience was exceptional, melting away the fatigue of travel and leaving me completely refreshed. Dinner and drinks were served in a refined setting, with the staff ensuring every detail was thoughtfully attended to. The highlight of the morning was the breathtaking terrace view of the surrounding terrain—a perfect way to start the day. Overall, the seamless blend of luxury, comfort, and genuine hospitality made my stay truly unforgettable.

Disappointed with our Stay - The room was suffocating, used bedsheet with stain, which was later changed in our presence, bathroom door didn't lock. Right from the start, we faced multiple issues that made the experience stressful. No compensation was given for this. Poor dinner quality on the first night we reached, found a dead fly found in one of the plates, a hair strand in the butter naan. Poor Hygiene standard and lack of serving staff. No wet floor mopping or dusting.

No doubt the hotel is beautiful with a good location but professionalism in staff and cleanliness of the room is what you need to work on. I am a local from Sikkim only and it’s sad to see how the staff seemed unhappy or they don’t know how to smile and be welcoming. I myself come from the hospitality industry so i notice everything coz i know the business and what to expect from the staff. The room i was given wasn’t even clean and they shifted me to another room which seemed okay when i entered but later i saw dead spider/insects by the window pane. Cigarette ashes by the washroom. It shows it wasn’t cleaned. The corridor was full of noise. As i saw the door had a big gap so the noise from outside was loud all night. I wanted to relax for a day so i booked a spa to pamper myself. What a horrible experience!! The therapist seemed very unprofessional as she was talking over the phone so loud and probably talking to her lover. While i was lying there expecting to have a calm moment but it was all chaos. She kept receiving calls and she continued talking and just rubbing oil on me. So unprofessional it is to have a phone while at work. Just put on silent mode coz we pay massage by hrs and every min is my money. She kept talking and talking. Massage was so bad that anybody could rub oil and leave you. I don’t know hoe she even got hired for that poor job. I have had massage therapy multiple times in different cities and outside India as well but this so far has been my worst experience and money fully wasted. Disappointed!

The location is good when you have a car. Do not take the buffet, it ain't worth it. Cleanliness and sanitization needs attention. Rooms are suffocating. NO AC which is must as it's not a cold city. You can't open windows and use the balcony at night due to insects. The lights can't be turned off. The GM however tried his best to make it upto us and he did but what we faced is not his fault.

The hotel does have all amenities and bells and whistles in place. Rooms are large and have great views. Mr. Rahul from the front desk was very accommodating and responsive. In-house restaurant serves great a-la-carte food as well as in-room dining. Buffet options are good as well. The only point of improvement to think of is housekeeping standards. But nothing too bad. All staff are responsive and courteous. If something is amiss all you need to do is ask and they would happily take care of it. Overall a great stay

It was not a good experience. Summit hotels property in Lachen was way better compared to this one in Gangtok. Initial room was not good and it was very suffocating, so we had to change the room. Even food was not good at all. It will need lot of improvements in everything.

They made us wait for one hour at reception by giving reasons that they are unable to see our bookings .... at the same time they allow four other guest for check in , After check in they made us wait by saying room was not ready even.. also no towels provided , no washroom essential provided, blood stains were there on blanket . Food provided late night have life threatening stone inside it . No complaint filed during checkout

Hotel was neat and tidy. There was a receptionist named Sharmila was very helpful lady made our best stay in Gangtok.

The room was very nice and the services of front desk was good too. The challenge was the restaurant. It was horrible. and the room service even worse. Restaurant did not have breakfast ready until 8.15 AM although their commitment was at 730. In addition half the menu was not ready. Room service took over an hour and worse yet they brought the food in instalments over another half hour .

Property’s location is little bit far from MG Marg. There are lot of options on buffet for breakfast and dinner. I was booked on a Penthouse which was one of the best room in this property. Services are delayed. Staff at reception was very much unmindful and confused specially Ms Sapnam. I request the management to look into it. While booking from MMT the penthouse has certain amenities which she was not aware off even after telling her. Then we had a change of room on our third day she was informed and prior and room change was done by her itself but the same was not informed to her next shift. I got a call at midnight to confirm whether we have checked in or not which was very much inconvenient.

We booked our tour package through India Tourism Center Kolkata and had most memorable holidays ever. Be it Silk route Sikkim & Gangtok.. This property is a new one with excellent make and amenities.
