Udaan Nirvana Resort & Spa, Darjeeling ( Mall Road )

The stay was average, there were problems with water heater in the first day, I had to wait for 1.5hours for heating the water. The geyser capacity is very less, after one person's bath it will take another 30mins atleast to heat, so following this pattern the rest of the days were okay. What I didn't like is that they charge separately for room heater, which should be included because Darjeeling has a cold weather, for example just like in the plain land it can be hot hence we have AC rooms, similarly the rooms in Darjeeling should have heater automatically. The room allotted to us was very small and not as per the picture . But it had 2 balconies instead. There were no wardrobe racks to keep clothes but they had only hanging system. There were no desk drawers. Storage is too less. Despite of many cons, the staff behaviour was extremely good and pleasant! They were highly courteous and respectful people and very caring people, Especially Sourav from Restaurant department is a wonderful person who extremely cares about customer experience and is extremely committed person. There was a problem with food at night, the next morning he took pain and came to manage and compensated us with a free breakfast and also listened to our problems patiently and acknowledged it and made up for the mishap earlier night. Extremely humble person I can't describe in words in this review. Another name "Dorje" he was a pleasant and helpful person from reception. Will remember him for sure. Conclusion: The Udaan Nirvana Resort & Spa, Darjeeling ( Mall Road ) room infrastructure was the worst, the view was heavenly and the staff were the most courteous and caring staff I have ever seen. Thumbs down to the owner of the property and thumbsup to the staff! The owner is interested in cost cutting only but he or she is lucky to have the best staff in the world!

I stayed in the premium valley view room with lawn. There are many things great about this facility 1. The view from the lawn and balcony is great 2. The food at Grains restaurant is pure vegetarian and amazingly tasty and hygienic. The breakfast has lots of choices including some local, north indian and south indian items 3. The mall and chowrasta are 250 meters from this Udaan Nirvana Resort & Spa, Darjeeling ( Mall Road ) which is extremely convinient 4. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, all accessories including towels are hygienic and fresh 5. The staff is extremely cooperative and service minded, always smiling and helpful  However there are some irritants also 1. No vehicles are allowed near the Udaan Nirvana Resort & Spa, Darjeeling ( Mall Road ). Your luggage has to be dropped and picked from bhanu bhawan, which is almost 800 meters away from Udaan Nirvana Resort & Spa, Darjeeling ( Mall Road ). The Udaan Nirvana Resort & Spa, Darjeeling ( Mall Road ) staff will help with carrying the luggage. 2. While the mall road is near and accessible, the climb can be challenging for aged people 3. Hotel does not have a lift which can be a challenge to aged people. You need to book rooms at reception level if you don't want to use stairs 4. The price premium on this property is primarily due to its location, I personally did not find it worth the price. 5. The small and narrow road between mall road and Udaan Nirvana Resort & Spa, Darjeeling ( Mall Road ) is not maintained at all. It has potholes, garbage, lack of lighting and other yuck things typical of west bengal roads.  Overall I really loved the location, food and service. However given the price premium and drawbacks listed, I would rather book in some other 4 star Udaan Nirvana Resort & Spa, Darjeeling ( Mall Road )s which provide better facilities.

Initially booked a room (Cottage Lawn View Room). Room was perfect from every aspects. 1. Cleanliness and Comfort: The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The room was equipped with all the necessary amenities. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The bed was comfortable as expected. 2. Staff Friendliness and Helpfulness: Fantastic. As such, we extended our stay in the Udaan Nirvana Resort & Spa, Darjeeling ( Mall Road ) for another two nights.

The location was just perfect with a great scenic view. All the staff were very helpful, specially Dorjey T Bhutia, Premdeep, Anisha, Akash and Ankit.The room was well-maintained. Food was delicious. The Udaan Nirvana Resort & Spa, Darjeeling ( Mall Road ) is very clean and tidy , also very aesthetically pleasing. It’s a pure veg Udaan Nirvana Resort & Spa, Darjeeling ( Mall Road ) which is an issue for me personally. The location of the Udaan Nirvana Resort & Spa, Darjeeling ( Mall Road ) is good but the walk to mall is really a steep uphill walk which can ve quite tiring to most.

We had a fantastic stay—everything was better than expected. The room was spotless, cozy, and had a beautiful view. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and were always polite and helpful. The whole experience was smooth, relaxing, and truly enjoyable. Would definitely choose this place again without a second thought. In short, it could not have been better.

This is my 2nd stay at this resort. The staffs are descent and well behaved. The resort is beautifully decorated and also it has a beautiful garden. The breath taking view from this resort is absolutely mesmerising.

Recently we stayed in Udaan Nirvana.. along with Infant.. Had a very Pleasant stay. special mention for each and every staff member of the resort.. every one is too polite and helpful

All was good in resort all staff were well behaved and trained for all services pickup and drop service was excellent

This was my first visit in Udaan Nirvana but one of the best stay at Udaan .Wonderful and pleasant Udaan Nirvana Resort & Spa, Darjeeling ( Mall Road ) ,so cooperative staff and yummy food .Best resort in Darjeeling.I will recommend all my friend s and family to stay in Udaan

stayed in Premium valley view room with balcony and it was a awesome experience. room number: 301. views from the balcony was amazing and heavenly. the staff were super helpful and catered every needs. the restaurant provided quality food and also there is a buffet in breakfast. the location is a few minutes away from mall road.

It was a pleasant stay It was a wonderful experience staying at Udaan Nirvana Resort. The location is very convenient and the stay quality, food and the staff is also good.

The stay was comfortable. Room was clean and the view was awesome. The only issue was wifi connectivity and cellular network issue in the room.
