My stay at Radisson Hotel Sunnyvale – Silicon Valley, Santa Clara – was ok. No delight. The feeling I got is – the Hotel did me a favour by accommodating me at its property.
No feeling of warmth, customer care – none of it all! “You want to stay….stay…or else, please feel free to get out,” was the inherent approach.
“Going beyond their role and connecting/engaging with the guest, and delivering delight,” was not in their DNA, it seems! The people were least bothered whether the customer/guest is happy, or whether the customer needs anything more to be comfortable. This is diametrically opposite to the customer-centric approach of Radisson properties in India. The beds need relook….creaking of the bed springs, etc. The worst is the food.
The breakfast spread is awful. For vegetarians, it promises to be a nightmare for the USD 15 we pay per breakfast! On the whole, I just about had average experience. I will think 10 times to go to Radisson Hotel Sunnyvale next time.
