Room was half the area than shown in the site while booking. However location was excellent, Absolute downtown

The property is well located if you want to stay down town very near the Wall Street and near the Hudson River - close to the subway station and has ample eating places around it

Facilities one lift broke down entire our stay and it was taking 30 minutes to reach reach our room this is 44 stories building and two small capacity lift was working during christmas and new year period house keeping was very bad requesting for suit cleaning

They blocked 200 dollars and we are having tough time getting them back. Rest all is very basic not as per standards

Good price and a high rise building room on the 39th floor made my trip great

No water offered while checking in. Price of the water bottle is $3. 00 which is very small. This is real cheap for any hotel. How can you over charge (5x) for drinking water? no tap water inside the hotel or nearby. The room space is considerably small.

Clean rooms, cordial and highly professional staff.

The hotel is nice. But only 2 lifts and no parking at hotel premises. You have to go and park in parking lot which is about 5 minutes walk back to hotel. They charge us 60 and with hotel stamps about us $ 50. Take the top most floor for stay because lift will always be busy and you have a chance of finding it empty on top floor while going down as people in mid floors rarely get empty lift.

Very small rooms, very tight hallways, only 2 elevators for 44 floors which are very slow. Staff isn’t very friendly and room TV remote wasn’t working

Rooms are small; access to the rooms from lift is super narrow and difficult to drag a bag. accessibility to sub is good, so one can go anywhere in NYC using Subway transit.

The lift system of the hotel is very poor and the rooms are very clumsy.

It was good. No bell boy, no hot water kettle, lifts are very slow. And i dint get my deposit refund also yet.

The expectation from a hotel such as doubletree by hilt-on was high, however the experience was extremely pathetic. Things that are not great, doubletree needs to work upon. 1. There are no folks to greet and take the guest luggage, as a customer you need to carry it all the way to the room. (rooms go up to 40th+ floors. 2. Rooms are extremely small- if you are paying $100+ for rooms, the expectation is to have a slightly comfortable room, with a decent size. 3. Water bottles, even as a welcome gesture isn't given to a customer. Hotel such as doubletree should at-least provide a bottle of water.

Clean and well maintained hotel with a few shortcomings. The elevators are quite slow and overburdened, so wait times are longer. There is no hairdryer in the room, but an ironing board is available. However there are a lot of facilities such as gym and restaurant. The basics are well covered with clean rooms, clean and well maintain restrooms and comfortable living spaces.

We stayed for a night. The check in happens at the second floor, meaning you have to carry your luggage till the 2nd floor. We booked through MakeMyTrip and when we reached at 8pm, we were told by the reception lady that the card we used was declined. However, I had paid full amount through MakeMyTrip. After a couple of minutes of discussion, this was settled but was unpleasant.

Excessive pricing for the size of rooms and locality. But, was comfortable to stay.
Room was priced very high for the place it was situated in and for the size of the room.

Everything was good. Near to 9-11 Memorial, Indian restaurants are near and you get good rooms though they are small but are good as it is expensive in New York to get big properties. Staff is good. I live this place couples can come to this place as most of the time is spent roaming around and it is good to relax here.

Good location but seems a bit expensive compared to room size. Elevators keep you waiting for long. General good experience. Breakfast can be a bit improved. Sure will come back next time mainly for location benefit. Very centralized can say in heart of city.
