Chaweng Regent Beach Resort

Hotel Review: Very good resort located right on the beach. The restaurant serves quality and tasty food. There is a nice play area for kids, making it perfect for families. It’s also close to many famous party spots, so you can enjoy both relaxation and entertainment. Overall, a very good stay and highly recommended. Will visit again there with the family.

The hotel experience was average overall. We had requested an early check-in, but it was not approved, which was disappointing. The food options were very limited for vegetarians, and there seemed to be additional charges for almost everything, including the swimming pool towel key, parking key, and even the big manual room key, which was inconvenient to carry. Although the property is advertised as being on the beach, it is not an original beachfront. The beach area is quite small and gets completely covered with water during high tide, leaving no space to enjoy. Overall, it was a moderate stay with a few inconveniences that could have been better managed.

Overall, I had a really great experience staying here. The biggest downside was my original room, which was quite outdated and had a strong mold/mildew smell. It would have been helpful to know ahead of time exactly which room type I was being assigned — especially as the hotel is currently undergoing renovations and some older rooms are still in circulation. That said, the staff were incredibly understanding and accommodating. After some back and forth, the manager kindly moved me to a more modern version of the deluxe room, and even upgraded my final night to a beachfront villa — which was absolutely beautiful, even in the rain. The hospitality and service made up for the initial hiccup, and I’d definitely recommend this property — just make sure to clarify your room type in advance.

Good quiet resort even though it's so close to all the beach clubs. Convenient, large rooms, nice pool, nice bar and decent breakfast. Family friendly too

Good rooms very big resorts and they don’t have any veg options in food only they have pizza n veg food, beach connected property

The hospitality and rooms were very good. Since it was raining, i suggest that they should cover an open balcony so that we could enjoy the rain. Poolside restaurant was very nice and on the beach. Lovely view we enjoyed.

We stayed @ chewing regnant beach resort for 4 nights. We had a good experience all through out. In terms of location it’s right in the middle of chewing beach road with plenty of shopping and massage centres close by. The staff is very pleasant and serve you with a smile.

Worth staying, only issue what i saw is - you get a bath tub and it’s in the place where it can be seen from 2 adjacent rooms - so no privacy.

When we checked in the first room allotted to us was good but during the night the air conditioner didn't cool quite enough and we were given a different room in the morning but to our bad luck the heat was so much that the ac failed. The manager a superb person and an awesome human being insisted on us shifting to a better room I has asked for a fan but he forced us and our holiday was a success. Joe if there are people like you I would only visit your Resort and no one else. Keep up the good work.

Everything was perfect location was perfect, food was great, rooms were good, overall everything was good. Just one thing they should work on is the restaurant area and bar area waiters and servers as they are very rude. I had also complained to manager but they didn really consider much. I would suggest them to train their waiters and servers well as they are in hospitality business and should be humble and polite while taking orders and serving. Rest everything was great.

Best location with easy access to market. Good friendly staff. Nice and clean hotel. If location is the preference then good property to stay. Nice food and access to Market for Thai, Continental and Indian food.

Love it, nice and well-situated. Almost everything closeby. The beaches are so good and clean. Haven't tried much food in the resorts as there are my options available around and closeby. Room are really big and very comfortable, specially the beach side ones.
