The Empress Hotel Chiang Mai

The stay was exceptional.. the location was amazing.. had easy access to everything.. good service as well

it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The check-in process was quick and seamless, and we were promptly escorted to our room, which was absolutely stunning. The room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfortable and slept like a baby every night! we especially appreciated the little details—like the plush towels, high-quality toiletries, and the thoughtful welcome amenities. The hotel’s amenities were top-notch

The stay in Hotel Empress was excellent and we really enjoyed it. The rooms were neat, clean, spacious and tidy. The service of The staff was superb. The location of The Hotel was very convenient and easy to visit The places. The Hotel also provided us with complimentary Airport drop.

Check-in allowed even at 6 AM without any charges. A great buffet breakfast. Rooms are quite big with tub in bathroom Want to eat out, just opposite The Hotel a good garden restaurant with 80% less than the Hotel restaurant.

Really good hospitality and better stay in Chiang Mai with great breakfast.

Hotel staff were very nice, the hotel lobby is very impressive. Breakfast bar was good and had good verity of food. The room was clean and large. Room décor is not up to date though, same for the bathroom . The fitness center is probably not frequently used so it is not well maintained and seems neglected.

It was clean and efficient staff ... Good music and live band ... Swimming pool was neat and tidy ... Elevator were fast and you don't have to wait for more than 30 seconds. Overall decent hotel for money I paid ...

The hotel website advertises free WiFi. When I checked in and asked for the WiFi code they politely told me that it will cost me additional 50 bhats for 3 hour usage. When I showed them their website which states free WiFi they could not give me any satisfactory answer. I was given room 927 and later on I came to know that only certain higher floors have the free WiFi. Was very disappointed and had to use up my 4G data on the cell phone for emails etc. The website needs to clarify the situation. The room 927, the mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. I would not rate or compare this facility to any 4 star hotel in Thailand. In the bathroom the shower head which is on top of the bath tub came to my eye level only and I am an average 5 foot 10 inches tall. Difficult to take a shower when you have to bend down to get water on your head. In the morning buffet the Thai and the local food section was very good but in the western food section they had both the sausage and the ham selection dipped in warm water. Who wants to eat breakfast sausage and ham dripping in water. They should have been grilled. Their egg station and their waffle station were excellent and I had to stick to that with the bread and fruit selection. Their tour guide office was excellent and everything we wanted to do and see we managed it well and on schedule. Their wait staff was excellent and you do not expect anything less from a Thai hotel but the stay was disappointing and uncomfortable. I have had a better stay in 3 star hotels in Pattaya and Bangkok.

Good hotel. Would definitely stay here next time and definitely recommend it to friends and relatives. Reception counter staff very polite and receptive. Room service good. Room cleanliness maintained very well.
