The Grand Sathorn

we stayed there for two days. it is near metro station. we stayed on the Second floor. The room was big and spacious. It has a kitchen as you enter into the room, with a sink nd cupboards with a refrigerator beside it. The bathroom is opposite to it which is decent. Then the next phase you have the living area where there is a couch a tea table and you can watch TV. Then as you move you have the bedroom. you even have a door to close the bedroom. The property is 10+ years old so the Fittings are a bit old. Also I did not like the bathtub as it was not ceramic it was some kind of wood which is painted. As we booked through make my trip it was not expensive but if you try to book by going there then it is costly.

Good location. Proper maintenance of swimming pool. Excellent breakfast. Stuff behavior is every Good. Very good location.

The hotel is located at the prime area, near to iconsian mall. The rooftop restaurant is very nice. The swimming pool is good. The room was large with most of the basic amenities. What i felt that can be improved are 1. Keep the person who can undersatad and speak english easily with the guests. 2. Keep some touring vehicles from the hotel so that guests do not fall prey to high unregulated taxi charge. 3. The person at reception helped us to book cruise dinner, we wanted the table for us at the open area, he said that he understood and did the booking but we got it inside the cruise and felt very bad. I feel there was a communication problem with the person booking the table. The indian restaurant is not available on walking distance no room service. Buffet breakfast is not good for vegetarian people.

Wonderful hotel with great staff. This hotel is located near to every tourist place which makes your travel plans easy. The swimming pool on the top floor has a great view of the city.

I stayed for just 1 night. It's an old building but well maintained. Rooms are quit big with separate living room. Can't comment on room service & restaurant as i didn't used it. Overall it's a budget hotel for 1-2 nights. Good for families too. Book hotel online only, as hotel rates are 3-4 times higher than online!

As a new traveller i booked the hotel back from india using make my trip and i was pretty confused that if the hotel would be great or not. After coming here, i couldnt find the way to hotel in my taxi using google maps as the hotel was on a one way road, but then i walked the rest of the path and i reached here. At reception i was greeted by a polite guy and had my details verified, he gave the room card and i went to the shown room. As i entered, i saw the room it was too big had a large bed and a sofa with small table and a curtain with a nice viewing window, near that was a table with 2 chairs, the ac was central and was pretty good. The coffee, tea and few bottles were already inside and were free, and also other necessary items were also stacked. The bathroom had a bathtub and all other facilities and was pretty clean. It also had a gym and a swimming pool at the terrace, which i couldn't get over on. And they were also free btw. Overall, i had a very good experience in such a hotel, and had very good amenities and location for the price. Recommended!

Budget and decent hotel for stay alone or with family. Good breakfast. And nearby we could able to taste the cuisines of indian restaurants.
