Hotel Hornerpub

location is nice. but no service in room. they don't even clean or sweep the floor even if you book for 3 nights if u leave 20 min late on check out day, u get told off by the housekeeper. the bartender does check in n there's one girl who does bussing in the pub. one housekeeper who comes in morning for cleaning only check out rooms. she was kind to give a knife for Cutting our fruit. but refused to clean or give bed making service. they have a kettle n mugs but no amenities. only gel soap for shower. she said the hotel doesn't have any stars and there's no service. if u expect any room service pls don't stay here. the room was clean when we got it. there's a small shower cubicle but hot water is there. bed sheets were clean and beds comfy. basic Inn style place. but close to staubach falls and Walking distance from station. can go to Jungfrau from here for a day easily. it saves time as compared to stay in Interlaken. but u must take Eurail or Swiss pass. the pub here has a juke box, some nice beers and most lively place in the town until 0030 am. however if you have to pay a bit more you'd better stay at wengen or allmend.
