Best Hotel at the heart of Int....
If ever my husband and I will visit Interlaken again, we will stay again in this hotel. Great customer service, best location and reasonable price for this expensive city in Switzerland. To add, my husband forgot his gold rings, and the hotel, with the help of Diogo mailed them to us and we received them in less than a week. Vielen Dank.

Good hotel with nice staff
Interlaken is a small town but this hotel is just around 10 mins walk from the Interlaken west station and is also on the main tourist street. It was a very comfortable stay and they provide everything you would need. No kettles though but you can use the one on their lounge 24/7 so it's not a deal breaker.
The restaurant below the hotel - da rafmi serves decent Italian cuisine which is a bonus.
The reception staff are very helpful and provide all the maps, guides and recommendations to make your stay wholesome. They also gave us a pass to use on the buses for the entire duration of our stay.
Oh and Breakfast is the usual affair with coffee, bread, cereals, cold cuts, juices, pastries and scrambled eggs. Fills you up.

Nice Hotel, Just a Few Problem....
The Hotel Weisses Kreuz is a nice place to stay in Interlaken. Our visit was okay, but they've got room for improvement. The room was comfortable and spacious and quiet. They specifically gave us a room towards the back of the hotel, away from the street noise, and that was nice. They provided us with breakfast, which was a real treat. Great food! Unfortunately, the hotel carpeting and painting is getting old. It's not bad, it's just looking a little run down. When we returned to the hotel on our 2nd night's stay, we were disappointed to find that our room hadn't been made up. It was 7:00 PM, and we were tired after our long trek up to Schilthorn. They had taken the towels, but didn't give us new ones. The front desk apologized, and said someone would be up soon to clean it. At 8:00 PM, the room still hadn't been cleaned. The front desk guy was horrified, and apologized like crazy. He gave me lots of towels and swore that the cleaning people had assured him that our room was cleaned. I understand that mistakes happen, and his apology was sincere. We might be back to the Hotel Weisses Kreuz in Innsbruck, but I'm not so sure.

A good 3* hotel in the heart o....
We stayed at the White Cross for 3 nights and enjoyed a most pleasant interlude, albeit with a few minuses. The hotel is quite central which meant that unless one kept one's balcony windows shut the constant loud chatter of people in the street below proved quite an annoyance. However, the central car park is only a short walk away, as are a host of restaurants and cafes and the public bus service is on the main street, making for a very convenient location. Our room was spacious, with a sofa and occasional chairs as standard, a comfortable bed and very comfortable pillow and duvets and one of the widest choices of international TV channels we have ever seen. The clean and pleasant bathroom featured a good over-bath power shower with plenty of hot water at all times. The only problem we encountered was the refrigerator which was virtually useless as it did not even produce room temperature cooling and was quite noisy at night as well - we gathered that these fridges were a source of frequent complaint and the management informed us that they were gradually being replaced with mini-bars. We hope we get one of those in future visits, but in the meantime the staff were very helpful in offering to put items that we wanted cool (wine, beer etc.) in the hotel's main refrigerator, for collection by us at will up till late evening. The staff were always pleasant and courteous. Breakfast was varied, with cold meats and cheese, fruit juice (canned) and fruit cocktail (canned), yogurt (very good, fresh) and some limited hot food - scrambled egg, sausage, baked beans - every day. All in all, an enoyable stay, albeit a little expensive for what it was.
