It was an official trip and i was looking for a simple and decent budget stay. Hotel barcelona universal was a perfect fit also given the fact that a couple of my friends also preferred to stay there. A comfortable stay with limited amenities. The hospitality extended by the staff needs a special mention. All in all, a great stay.

The Hotel Barcelona Universal is ideally located near the metro line, La Ramblas and Gothic. The Hotel Barcelona Universal staff is very friendly and cooperative. The rooms are a little small and dark. I can easily say that this a great place to stay in Barcelona. Go ahead and book the place.

Nice big size rooms, location is very good, plenty super markets and indian restaurants near by. Its at a square, no problem getting taxi, mcd at front. Colombum monument at walking distance

Super. Did not have any problems. Well located and good access to everything.
Centrally located with excellent connectivity to the tourist areas. Metro station is right outside the Hotel Barcelona Universal.
