Perfectly spotted in the heart of Barcelona. 1. Prime location - Immediate to Plaça the Catalunya, Las Ramblas and Restaurants. 2. Swimming pool was awesome, clean and well maintained. 3. Quite Expensive but it is very good for the first time visitors. Great hotel and nice staff! Would definitely recommend staying there!

Hotel with big rooms bathrooms and big screen tv. Serivce was fast and excellent. The best thing about the hotel is the cleaness and the location which is close to metro. True value for money. Hotel is in a quiet location and offers a very comfortable stay.

The location was very good. A 2-block walk to all connections, Passieg de Gracia, metro, etc. The staff were very hospitable, spoke/understood English, eager to assist us with whatever we needed. We ate only once at their breakfast buffet, as they offered it for 1/2 price on our first day. It was good, not great, but quite varied, adequate, OK for 1/2 price, but at the regular cost of 18 Euros per person, it was no value. Very expensive. We got our breakfast elsewhere after that. We had asked for a walk-in shower & ended up with a "handicapped" room. That meant that the doorways were wide enough for a wheelchair to pass through, but the shower was still inside the high-sided tub. According to one of the reception workers, there are no walk-in showers in the hotel. It would have been nice to know this straightaway. Also, there was no bureau in the room, only the 2 beds + desk, TV, chair, I suppose to allow for movement of a wheelchair. This made it quite a balancing act in order to get in/out of our luggage, as they only supplied one small stool for luggage use. When we asked for another one, we were told they didn’t have any more. We managed. The beds were rock hard! We managed to make the best of them, but had thought about asking for additional blankets & putting them under the bottom sheets just to soften things a bit, but we just put up with them. Since we were going on a cruise after our stay in Barcelona, we kept looking forward to better sleeping conditions. While each room has a safe, there's an additional charge of 5 Euros/day to use it! The rooms were clean, housekeeping services were very good each day, bathroom toiletries were also quite good & freely supplied. All in all, there were more things good about the hotel than not good, so a short stay in a central location is probably good for the money.
