Good place, can be better

Location of the resort is excellent, bang on the beach. No lifeguards on the beach but the waters were calm & it was like your own private beach. The lady at the reception was extremely warm & courteous and also the chef at buffet breakfast live counter. But a few of the restaurant staff seemed to be very indifferent. On the table where we were about to start having our breakfast I happened to see dust bunnies, which I brought to the notice of a lady staff. She simply shrugged her shoulders & told me it must have fallen from the ceiling. When we decided to change our table she came & dusted it off reluctantly. I don't know if all guests get similar service or was it racism? The breakfast spread wasn't exhaustive, but it is okay We being vegetarians had very limited choice for the meals, and all the 3 veg options were almost same. There was no consistency in taste & quantity of the same dish. Complimentary water provided only on 1st day doesn't make sense, there is no concession for booking 2 nights. A thin sheet was provided instead of a blanket. Had the location not been so good, the experience would have been absolutely not worth it.

Had a memorable stay at one of the finest Hotels within budget at Praslin. The best point about the Castello Beach Hotel is the location, very near to the airport. Then, the next point to cherish is the courteous staff. They were extremely helpful about anything. Be it about guiding about local places to visit, the detail map of the island, a wonderful swimming pool, excellent quality food, room services etc. Room was very spacious, and equipped with all facilities. Could be made better by improving the lighting and exhaust systems in washrooms. Rest everything was great. And really worth remembering for a lifetime !! Keep it up!
Comfortable stay.

The junior suite was big enough for a family of 4, very decently furnished with all amenities, clean, good powerful ac. The only problem was poor internet through wifi, you can't practically use it. The foreign staff particularly laura was very helpful. However, we did not have good experience in the restaurant and a guy at reception. So overall a star less for wifi and staff!

Beautiful rooms. Except for odd location of light switches and non auto locking doors. All other things were perfect about the Castello Beach Hotel.

Good spacious rooms, nice service, good pool, great restaurant, the beach view from restaurant will make you stay there forever. Highly recommended! Easily accessible to other sites at praslin, located near airport. Don't miss a trip to Curieuse island and St. Piere island. The staff are very friendly and help you with exploring the beauty of Praslin isalnd
