1. The location was not accessible by cabs, no shops nearby, no provision for water and someone was constantly checking through drone via windows. Scary experience

We stayed at this place for one night. Mid-hills is an apartment with a good view. We were more keen on visiting the awana sky deck, so did not mind about the location. Advantages - 14mins from awana sky deck, a decent view from the room, access to swimming pool (not roof top) & you need proper swimming gear, clean room with balcony. -disadvantages - no wi-fi, balcony had a view but construction work is going on, so you can view the construction site which spoils the view a bit, no toiletries, no service, no restaurant, shops are a bit far you cannot walk but you can get a cab for under 10rm, the biggest issue was checking in- we did not get any contact details further to booking and the number was incorrect, so i had to call support and they immediately linked me with the manager. The process is, we have to send a whatsapp text to the manager and he will quickly reply with process steps (with passwords etc) from then it’s easy, so make sure before you reach the location you get this sorted because the security guys do not understand english and all he said was which tower, who ? both the answers i did not have. It was stressing to stand there with no desk support. Other wise a good place to rest and chill a bit for a couple or family or friends. If you are a person who are very keen on view without hinderance, very keen on wi-fi, service this place is not for you. But if you are here for cheap yet comforting stay with decent view, kitchen access and have experience staying in air bnb’s then this is for you. Overall i would recommend this place if you are here to chill in genting highlands and not gonna spend much time in room.
