Rock 'n Reef Hotel

We booked Rock n Reef in Uluwatu for its breathtaking ocean view. Being our first trip to Bali and with my husband being a water enthusiast, we were excited about this particular stay. The property promised a serene experience, and given the premium price we paid for three days, we expected top-notch service and basic amenities to match the cost. Starting with the positives, the directions to the property were accurate, and the room was exactly as depicted in the photos—clean, simple, and with an unbeatable view of the ocean. However, our experience took a disappointing turn upon arrival. The air conditioning was dripping water and not functioning, even when set at the lowest temperature. Despite raising the issue twice, no action was taken, and we were handed a fan instead. Coming back to a humid room after climbing 100 stairs and battling the tropical heat was far from ideal, especially on our honeymoon. Basic services like fresh towels, toiletries and a hairdryer—advertised as part of the room—were only provided after we specifically requested them from housekeeping. These should have been ready in the room upon check-in. The food was okay but did not stand out, and the overall experience fell short of the expectations set by the property’s cost and reputation. While the view is stunning, the lack of attention to service and comfort made our stay disappointing. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this property to others.

The stay was good and the staff was friendly but after paying all the expenses in cash they have charged my credit card for id r 3, 00, 000 without my permission for the drinks which i had already paid
