Hotel Excelsior

The room was small but clean and the ensuite was also small but clean with a good shower, though space was limited. The free minibar was a very welcome part of the accommodation and the breakfast was excellent. There was also free coffee/tea and cake or fruit in the Hotel Excelsior lobby where there was some space to sit down and meet friends. More seating would be good as people often waited there with their luggage, for taxis. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The location is great as it's next to the main station and frequent tram services to other parts of the city. Would definitely stay there again.

Food is good especially breakfast. Room had minibar for free and its first time I had like this. No cattle in the room.
There was no air conditioner in the room and I was asked to pay extra per day for air conditioner room. This was never indicated anywhere in the booking that there is no air conditioner. It was a nightmare and not the sleep I had on the first day. Luckily next day was raining and it cooled down so I could manage the stay. It was good to have Minibar totally free. Breakfast was just superb, compliments for this.

Stayed during the Heimtextil fair days when rooms can become very expensive. Though the Hotel Excelsior is old, it is very well maintained. Good linen, near and clean rooms. Free minibar. Excellent breakfast. What more they provide for free tea, coffee, cake and fruits from 9 am to 6 pm. The lift could be upgraded. Value for money.

We were staying at Hotel Excelsior during Cphi which is one of the largest pharmaceutical conferences in the world. The location of the Hotel was very convenient, just a skip away from the Hauptbahnhof, and the biggest factor in Hotel selection. Very convenient to travel to Messe and back.

The breakfast was great. The location is very close to the station and is quite convenient 5 minute walk. The rooms were clean, showers had hot water. Was a comfortable stay and very good value for money. Would recommend to business travellers, tourists, etc.

Good facilities. Excellent breakfast. They provide free softdrink facility. Near to train station. For the breakfast they provide various options. Breakfast starts quite early too. Front desk person was helpful. Rooms provided were smaller. No AC facility.

This is located near Frankfurt Station. Very easy to access and commute. They serve excellent breakfast.
Nothing specific. Bathroom door maintenance was required. Breakfast was great.

Great location, very near to main Station and so many indian restaurants. Good and helpful staff. Overall I Am very much satisfied and must recommend to others.

Transportation was easy good staff

Stay was comfortable. While traveling for work it is always good to stay near the train Station or Airport and this Hotel was nearest and best.

It's a decent no frill Hotel Excelsior, best part is breakfast and free minibar, just they must add more hot breakfast options like omelette or waffles. Location is good to go anywhere around. Toilet missing exhaust so that's the drawback.
