Great location with profession....
We stayed for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our home away from home. Friendly staff helps make this a welcome place in a rather busy city. Good restaurant on-site further makes the stay convenient and easy.

I stayed at Mama Shelter Marseille for ten days, including Christmas. I also stayed there last year, and as I enjoyed it so much, returned. The staff is bilingual, friendly and helpful. I booked a Large Mama room, and it had a wonderful soaking tub and extra area for a pull out sofa bed for my daughter. We also had her kitty there, which was special for both of us. The breakfasts are not to be missed, and dinners nice and convenient. The staff also recommended excellent restaurants outside of the hotel. My daughter lives in Marseille, so when I visit again, I'll stay at Mama Shelter.

Great value, fun experience, n....
A nice way to avoid the more touristy neighborhoods, Mama Shelter Marseille is a quick walk from the Baille Metro stop and the Cours Julien neighborhood with its many bars, shops and restaurants. Friendly staff was very welcoming. Great bar and restaurant. Interior rooms are quiet, but beware of the dj sets on the weekend, you’ll hear the bass! Rooms were clean and modern, but lacked some niceties like extra pillows, a bottle opener, or an ice bucket. Would definitely stay again.

Scientific Workshop at Mama Sh....
I 've just organized a one-day workshop (25 guests) at the Mama Shelter of Marseille - on an all-inclusive basis (i.e., night plus breakfast, several breaks, lunch and full access to a business room upstairs). Frankly the Mama Shelter of Marseille offers unparalleled services - professional and efficient check-in check-out, flexible hours for breaks and lunch time, constant contact with the sales departement over the previous months, then weeks, then days to ensure that everything would work fine, ranging from the number of electric plugs in the business room to the kind of wine my guests would appreciate during lunch. Finally, well the Mama Shelter brand, with its trendy atmosphere, its kinky boutique in the lobby and off-beat humour plus trendy rooms were all much appreciated by all the attendees - nothing overplayed, just something different than other hotels (e.g., Novotel, Sofitel, New Hotel of Marseille, Palm Beach) where I usually attend scientific meetings when in downtown Marseille. I was a little bit worried by the location (rue de la Loubiere is not very sexy) but it took for most guest less than 20 minutes by tube to reach the show from St Charles TGV central station. I will definitively organize further events there!
