Cleopatra Hotel Luxor

A cosy, no frills budget Cleopatra Hotel Luxor, it's biggest asset is the location on west bank of luxor. It is close to the valley of kings, hatsepshut temple and also to the area from where the hot air balloons take off. And if you want to head to east bank to visit luxor and konark temples, walk to the river front, which is 5-7 minutes distance from the Cleopatra Hotel Luxor, and take a boat to cross the nil e river to the east bank. The staff at the Cleopatra Hotel Luxor are nice and especially mohammed (looks like the brother of mo salah, who is the go-to man for all things you want.

We had booked the place for a couple of days as we wanted to check-in as soon as we reached Luxor early morning at 6 AM. Despite it already being booked in our names, we were given the rooms by 9 or so. It could have been made ready the previous night since we have paid for it already. I wouldn't say it was intentional to give us the rooms late but the entire staff of four-five guys were involved in getting the breakfast ready. The check-in experience could have been much smoother. The location is good to start off exploring on the West bank. Food is excellent with a large spread for breakfast and good taste. Rooms were decent.
