The Mercure Cairo Le Sphinx Hotel was very good. It was a bit far from downtown Cairo, but bang opposite to the Giza pyramid complex. Facilities are excellent. Rooms are clean and well equipped. I especially recommend the in Mercure Cairo Le Sphinx Hotel travel concierge- Cobra Travels and its manager Mr. Aladdin Helmy.

Room is very close to Giza pyramids. Only about 2 km far. 1 hour from Cairo airport. Rooms are comfortable. Room service is also good. Breakfast is not good with very little options. They do not even have a toaster for bread. No small eateries nearby. You have to take a cab to go out to the nearest restaurant. Otherwise overall a decent stay.
