Beware Your Car is At Risk
We have stayed several time when this hotel was Bewley's and have had no problems However this has changed hands now and I am sorry to say I am disgusted.
We did the park and fly deal and returned to find our car damaged. after complaining and many emails flying back and forward it was a case of pass the buck. IN OTHER WORDS LEAVE YOUR CAR AT YOUR OWN RISK AS THE SEVICE IS DISGUSTING
I am not a big subscriber to Trip Adviser but when i have contributed it has only been to praise
This is the very 1st one and will leave a bad memory for many years to come.
Up to you now YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Very large double bedroom apartment with kitchen and living room. Seems very well appointed if a little dated. My only problem was the road noise but luckily I carry earplugs with me. Apparently if one books earlier one can get a room further away from the road. you get what you pay for and this place is OK.

This place makes Faulty Towers....
Arrived on Friday night and stayed for 3 nights in "serviced" apartment. Service is only done on Fridays and Tuesdays, though we paid for 3 nights. When fresh towels were requested, these would only be provided at extra charge. 2 people, 3 nights, 2 towels. Very stingy indeed. The manager asked what we would do at home. This is totally irrelevant and frankly, disrespectful as it's none of his business what we do at home. After leaving Xperia feedback (sad face), this was followed up by a missed late night phone call from the manager with a message "wondering what you're on about". Needless to say I didn't bother returning that rude message.
On entering the apartment, we immediately felt uncomfortable due to the numerous signs around the walls laying down the law. As has been mentioned by other reviewers, the substandard room was given for one of 3 reasons, all starting with the word "you". This was spelled out on a large sign on the back of the toilet door. So, if you don't like the room, essentially it's your fault. The managenment takes no responsibility for any of it.
The manager clearly dislikes 3rd party booking agencies. Though he's ok with accepting the bookings from them anyway. Perhaps he should server any commercial ties with these organisations and only accept direct bookings. Bit of a double standard here. It looks like he's biting the hand that feeds him.
The room itself:
- Musty smell
- Cracks in walls
- Frayed carpets
- Holes in curtains
- Security door can'tbe locked
- No exhaust fan in toilet
- Rust in ceiling of microwave right above where food is cooked
- Only about 5 or 6 coat hangers
- No free wifi which is almost unheard of these days
My suggestions to the management:
- Spend a few nights in some other hotels for inspiration
- Stop blaming your guests (paying customers) for your substandard accomodation
- Stop blaming 3rd parties that actually bring you business. That's just plain dumb.
- Stop pointing to the fine print and focus on providing a great customer experience

Very Clean & Comfortable
We stayed for one night as this hotel is very close to Monash hospital. The hotel is an older style but very well maintained, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The TARRIF is very reasonable. When booking ask for a room away from the road as this would be noisy. We will stay again.

Super clean, great price, & ni....
Graham - what a gem of a man :) I arrived quite late and he put my heater on and made sure my room was toasty on arrival. The room was very clean and tidy, and had everything you could hope for. Some nice chilled water in the fridge, microwave, tea & coffee and even biscuits! The bed was also quite comfortable.
Yes it is an older property but I would have to say it is one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. The location was great and the price was excellent. Graham did mention it was best to book with them direct to get the best rooms. I gather that some people have an issue with road noise, but I did not notice anything at all. And even if you did that is just a product of location.
My only hot tip (pun intended) is that it takes a bit of TLC to get the hot to cold ratio right in the shower, but once you get there it is great so stick with it.
I would definitely stay again :)
