ibis Melbourne Hotel and Apartments

Basic rooms, no frills don’t expect too much. They only have one plug point in entire room. Bathrooms are clean but pretty basic without hand shower. Location is bit far from central and connectivity is poor.

Excellent property at cbd area with easy connectivity to all places in city. The tram is just 50meters walk.

No water bottle available they said its chargeable. Dental kit also not available. Bed is not comfortable. I book for two days but checkout after one day

Nice, cozy, centrally located, and place value for money. Victoria market & all other shopping places were around

The hotel location was outstanding and stay was very comfortable. We booked a 2 bed room apartment for a family of 4 and it was wonderful. The rooms were decent and amenities were nice including the kitchen. The breakfast was good too

Rooms could be much cleaner. Friendly staff. My concern was there was no weighing scale.

Terrible service and rude staff. Don't let you charge phones/ power banks after check out. No room service. Long waiting at reception.

Breakfast was average. It can be improved in terms of variety And freshness.

Stay if you find no other option

Located in the heart of the city with close proximity to the shopping centres, flinders street, federation square, St pauls cathedral and loads of eateries. The free tram is a minute away from the hotel. The Victoria market is at a 2-3 mins walking distance. Friendly, helpful staff and great rooms. Thanks Ibis for making our Melbourne days memorable.

Must provide cooled drinking water in the room. It makes it compulsory to buy a bottle. Also provide microwave in the room so that Indians like us can have food of our tastes. You also can do one thing. Please print on booking slip the nearest and cheapest way to reach hotel from Airport. Eg, if there are more than 2 persons, taxi is cheaper and convenient than Skybus.

More like a budget hotel, stayed for 6 nights at this hotel, was following the Indian team during the Cricket World cup. Location and ambiance are good, but very small rooms, no waste bin in the room (only in the washroom), only one chair in the room (we traveled as a couple). Free internet access (that too in the lobby) is limited to just 50 MB per day (at this age and time) and if we wanted HS access in the room it was AUD 24.00 per day. Next time we will try another hotel.
