Cairns Harbourside Hotel

Beautiful location around esplanade.. Walking distance from esplanade.. No idea RELATED BREAKFAST..WE VE NOT TAKEN.. VERY NEAR TO AIRPORT.. CLEAN,DECORATED RECEPTION. FRIENDLY AND PLEASANT STAFF. CLEAN SWIMMING POOL. E Bike...FACILITY IS,ALSO THERE..U CAN HIRE ON YOUR OWN.

Property was good but the did not allow even a little bit of late check out after repeated requesting Food was not available after 9:30 p.m.

Spacious rooms, delicious food, and absolutely the best bay view in Cairns. Perfectly located within walking distance of all the main attractions—couldn’t have asked for a better spot to stay

Had booked sea view room. The room was spacious, clean, with a fantastic walkable distance from aquarium, night mkt and the cruises terminal to great barrier reef tour

Location of the property was right on the esplanade. It’s a 20 mins walk to the main night market of cairns where there are a lot of restaurants. Rooms are clean and was spacious with a balcony.

We went for a ihg hotel basis on their reputation but this one disappointed me big time, first thing being an international traveler wifi is a must, the hotel didn't have a proper working wifi, my phone's 3g was faster than that. Then the staff, i heard some comments like once i was ordering at the bar and i asked for the happy hour offer, he mentioned it was over so i ordered a beer and then this person asks me how would you like to pay, and a co staff passing by commented " maybe they don't want to pay ", surprised to see their hospitality. There was no one to take our luggage, no on to assist, even though the hotel was half empty. Last but not the least food was so average that we had to order everything from nearby place, overall such a bad experience at this beautiful place

Stayed in the hotel for 3 days and enjoyed every moment. It is isolated from the cairns city center noise, but you will not feel isolated as it is located within a walkable distance. They have a free shuttle service and bicycle to hire. Food in the restaurant is also a must try.

Housekeeping response could be improved upon as broken plastic chair in balcony took two calls to replace which in a internationally branded operation should have been spotted by the staff.

My stay at Holiday Inn Harbour side for 2 days was extremely comfortable. The location of the hotel is convenient and the facing the ocean. Staff is very helpful and humble and food is great as well, though the vegetarian options are limited. All in all, the location and the proximity to the airport makes the stay worth every penny.

Very convenient location on esplanade. Within 10 minutes from reef terminal by car/taxi. Excellent breakfast (which is included in hotel stay and is offered by very few good hotels in Cairns) Service is good. Will recommend for families, tourists visiting Cairns.

It was a very good experience with Holiday Inn. Appreciate every one, pickup and drop to Cairns central. They can add more options for breakfast buffet.
