Good Location. Good Service. M....
On my way to Antartica, I stayed at Las Lengas for 1 night, and I was less than impressed with the hotel.
The location is good. It is walking distance to town and it has really nice view of the bay and city.
The rooms, on the other hand, look more like a motel than a 3-star hotel.
The rooms, that have single beds, are small and very outdated. There is no A/C and the beds were very uncomfortable.
Washrooms, although clean, very small and also outdated.
As per the rest of the hotel, there is a restaurant with somehow decent food.
For 1 night it was OK, but I would not give this hotel more than 2 stars.

Quiet but cramped and dated
We stayed here two nights before our cruise to Antarctica. The common areas are nice, spacious and comfortable. The restaurant appears to be part of a pizza chain. The pizzas are excellent (We had a large for dinner the first night. It was too large for the two of us. They gave us a take-out container for the rest. We put it in our room minibar for the night and then had it for lunch the next day). The menu has other options as well. The breakfast buffet is adequate (typical of other Argentina hotels). The rooms, however are cramped and dated. There is very limited drawer/counter space.
The single electric outlet is hidden inconveniently under the "desk." Only on the second day did we realize there was a light on the "desk" (the light itself is under a shelf and not visible; the on/off switch under a pile of our stuff so we didn't see it). In an age when multiple electric and USB outlets are common, this is a part of the room design that must be updated! The location is nice. As others have noted, it's a short walk from the main tourist district and the port, which has it's pros and cons. We had decent weather, so the walk was not a problem for us. We liked the view from the lobby and restaurant. We liked being away from the noise of downtown. Finally, I want to comment on how helpful the staff was when we had to cancel the post-Antarctica part of our stay. We had reserved 2 nights after our cruise and had left a suitcase at the hotel. Due to weather conditions, we were delayed in our return. Our 2-night post-trip stay became one night and then a full cancellation. We kept the hotel informed, and then we arrived they helped us get our suitcase, with no cancellation charges.

The new part of the hotel has confortable rooms (bed, shower, etc) but there are none of the usual comfort items (paper, dustbin in the room, free bottle of water, etc), Sound isolation between rooms is limited probably because they have a connecting door).
Reception staff was rather unhelpful (note that the management is located away in another hotel, apparently better, which is located right in front of the port).
The hotel is rather far from the town (one kilometer, with a steep cliff, not ideal when it is cold or raining …).
The breakfast was good and plentiful. The restaurant was standard (grill, pizzas) but the food was quite satisfactory (a rarity in Argentina).

This hotel is in a perfect location, within walking distance into town. There is a bar and restaurant on site. My room with 2 double beds is spacious, lots of storage and modern amenities. Staff assisted with booking day trips which I thoroughly enjoyed. There is lots of seating in the spacious lobby to enjoy the view

When entering hotel premises everything looks nice, clean and modern. But this not the case for all rooms. You also may get a room without a view on a harbour. Instead view from your room can be limited with the concrete wall.
