On first glance, the staff are really friendly, and the atmosphere at the entrance is homely and welcoming in New Delhi!
After checking in to room 301 though, consistent stench of sewage filled the small room, which we tried to address ourselves first. When we couldn't find the solution, we told the staff at check out to look into the air-conditioning because we could not figure out another source - even after opening windows, turning off AC, closing bathroom when not in use.
Smelly room that made us feel nauseous, unable to eat the delicious room service food due to the smell, unable to sleep due the suffocating smell.
Final straw for this experience is the mattresses are so wobbly - two twin cots were bunched together - and my joints were in unbearable pain as a result - even after taking 2 pain killers.
Unable to do any exercise or walking in the room - we entered healthy, and checked out nauseus, in incredible pain and sleepless for our 12 hour travel back to our home base in Blr.
all our review to the management got as a compliment at check out us was - "next time you come, we will have sorted it out."
There just will not be a next time!
