Terrible Stay

Initially we were quite excited about our stay, but eventually our experience turned out to be below average . The welcome drink was the most horrible thing I’ve ever had . Rooms were decent , even though despite prior confirmations and reconfirmations our room allotment was delayed . I called twice before check- in requesting to keep it ready since my baby was becoming very cranky . I was even promised that everything is ready , I just need to reach . But when I finally reached , we were still made to wait . Food was horrible atleast the veg dishes . I was asked if I needed specific toppings in my pasta . I had asked them for 4-5 veg toppings in my pasta .. they put just 1 and charged 600 rs extra for it . Later when confronted about it , someone was sent to the room and he was really rude and told that they just wrote the name “veg toppings “ but it was actually the baby food that they had charged 600rs for .. I was appalled but didn’t say much to him as he was very rude . Later when I emailed that I need to know the email of the main manager , I immediately received a call for apology . I was made to connect to Mr Anish who was actually little sweet out of all the whole bunch of rude staff . He apologised and asked me if I needed a refund or some service / food for 600 .. unfortunately we didn’t have time for food / service but next morning while checking out when I told them that they can refund , they just acted dumb .. even the breakfast was bad . Nothing was tasty except filter coffee.. first hotel out of so many hotels that I have been to who charges for baby food .. instead he argued that only baby khichdi is free .. how is a baby supposed to eat khichdi 4 times a day for.. ? Really disheartening to see such kind of insensitivity. On the whole rooms - very good , food - below average , hospitality- negative !

Poor Experience and Miscommunication During My Stay

At the time of check-in, we had requested a room upgrade as a part of the celebration. The gentleman at the reception was polite and offered us an upgrade to the 6th Floor, mentioning that we were being given a 70–80% discount as a birthday gesture. However, when I attempted to access the Club Lounge, I was abruptly denied entry. The lounge staff told me I did not have access and asked me to reconfirm with the reception. I immediately called from Room 682, and spoke with Mr. Saksham, who informed me that the upgrade did not include lounge access — directly contradicting. When I questioned what the extra charges and “70–80% birthday discount” were for, If your calls from the rooms are recorded, I strongly request that you review the call as evidence of how poorly the situation was handled. We chose The Leela expecting a premium experience, but this left us feeling embarrassed and regretful on a day that was supposed to be memorable for the right reasons. Unfortunately, the miscommunication, lack of clarity, and unprofessional behavior we experienced have left a very negative impression. Despite paying a significant amount, we did not receive the service or courtesy expected from a hotel of your reputation. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and ensure better communication and training for your staff to prevent such experiences in the future. Based on this experience, I would rate it 0 out of 10.

got the worst services ever by leela , i couldnt sleep the whole night due to electricity fluctuations. When i complained all they could offer a room upgrade whenever i go next. This is not acceptable.
