We stayed in a private double room. It was fine, we traveled as a couple and the room has 2 singles. The bathroom was no good but besides that the hostel is fine to go for sleep.

It is located in the center of tourist attraction, easily reached by bus and train. It takes only 10 minutes from the York station and about 3 minutes from the nearest wall gate of York. Services from the staff was also good, they helped us to take care of our luggage while we are strolling around the city after our check out time. Overall, it was a nice stay.
