Laya Safari

Property is located just next to the yala safari. Its right on the beach. However its not properly maintained. Staff is very courteous and supportive. In our visit elephant also came into the property

Pathetic Hotel. Everything was worn out. Only the chef was good. I wonder how can it be called a 4 star.

Resort in a national park & if u are lucky u can experience elephant’s strolling around in the vicinity,a dream location

The rooms were really dirty, geyser was not working nor was the flush, looked nothing like the pictures. Our money was stolen in this room. Good staff and the view in the beach was great. Some of the staff was also good but overall this place left us with a very bitter memory

There was water leakage in the rooms it was smelling badly, floors, curtains beds are not maintained looks like a lodge. Pathetic ambience. Food is ok

One of the best experiences we had in Sri Lanka! Staff was just excellent (Deepthi in tea villa Field- Nuwara Eliya can learn a lot from them). We stayed there for our first wedding anniversary so they upgraded our room and send a yummy cake to our room! The restaurant staff was also too good. First day we had some problems in the breakfast buffet since we are both vegetarians but the chef prepared veg noodles specially for us. Then the next morning, we had a wonderful veg buffet spread including paratha and dosa. Another very good point was that the staff was always smiling which is so soothing and refreshing and was always ready to help) Best part of our stay was an amazing visit to the Hotel by elephant from the National Park! We got a call from reception that there an elephant at the reception (who then just came outside our room balcony)! Laya Safari was Worth every penny we spent!
