Paradise Holiday Village Colombo

Room cleanliness was pathetic, there were many cockroaches in the room and yellowish water was coming from the tap and the linen on the bed was terrible. I have pictures taken, if there is a option to upload, will upload.

The room size was amazing and the location was very close to the beach. Good pubs around for night life. Although the room was very basic with no mini-bar, the service was quite good. There were better hotels around the same area, but this one is an absolute value for money if you are looking for cheap and good hotels.

I regret booking at this hotel. Despite giving prior notice of my arrival, my room was not ready when I went there. They tried to send me to the nearby small cheap hotels (MB hotel and Michiko apartments). I refused as one was smelly and other one was, air-condition not working. Finally, they give me a double room with a bed for my kid instead of 2 room Apartment. I had no option but to accept their offer. I wish nobody will have such bad experience in the future.

The location of the hotel is excellent, recommend to have food from the other near by restaurants as its too costly. The staff may be friendly if you tip them, otherwise don't expect anything from them. The rooms are good and clean, pool is awesome.

If one is looking for budget and nice clean holiday stay in Srilanka, You have come to the right place, Complimentary breakfast is great ranging from western to the sri lankan food, I would say giving a try to the yellow rice is not a bad idea. The staff are very polite and helpful. There is a swimming pool if one wants to play. It is ideal place for a family and perfect for single woman who are travelling alone. I would say its very safe for single woman. The budget is very good and cheap compare with the room standard and cleanliness. I would certainly visit Sri Lanka and stay at the Hotel again. Its is very pleasant place for western people as my husband is an English man, and I know they like quite place and its perfect for them. Its not crowded and not noise unlike other places.

The price of the drinks and food were higher than the other near restaurants and hotels. Wifi internet service was the worst service. My room was on first floor and it was hard to connect with WiFi there. Reception guys behave was good. Thanks.

This was my second stay at Paradise Holiday village. Hospitality was good. Hotel staff was very helpful. Room was also clean and AC was good. WiFi this time was good than previous time. All over I strongly recommended for other travellers. Thanks.
