Tourmaline Hotel Kandy Level 1 Safe & Secure

Hotel with nice views, food was decent to good, staff was well trained. The location is away from city centre and on the top of hill with small roads.

Location was good. Food was ok - average. Amenities was also not so good. Not a place for children to play.

Over all good experience. Nice location, clean and tidy rooms, nice reception friendly staffs. 5 star

In Kandy I would rate this hotel next to Mahaweli Reach.

We stayed 8 people. The hotel is good for the people to stay but lacks amenities to enjoy the property. Swimming pool is great. Staff is ok. Service was ok too.

It was very beautiful, services was nice quality food, and the reception girl Anjali was very helpful and gave us warm welcome. Pleased with the Hotel. View was awesome.

We decided to stay in the Hotel after there was a bomb blast in Colombo. The staff were very prompt in their reply, check in was smooth (I ended up in the Hotel and then made my reservation) Stay was good, dinner, drinks and breakfast was just amazing. I wish I could have stayed another day.

Mixed feeling about this one. Room was fine, good set up, great team but our double bed had two single mattresses without anything to join them so one of us always ended up falling in between. We were given two single run down blankets for a double bed which was off putting. We asked for a quilt but it never came. Breakfast buffet is basic but enough. Hotel is high up on hill so you must have your transport or you can use hotel's bus which starts in the afternoon. Pool and outside area was nice. Hotel staff was great. Over all okay experience.

Excellent pool to unwind after a Long day. The spa was not up to the mark. Coffee machine in for brewed coffee must be available in dining areas. That serves a good latte or cappuccino.

Excellent food by the chef, location is on top of the hill but its peaceful and view to a kill, the staff is very kind and excellent service by staff.
Little ants should be eliminated.

Great location on top of a hillock. Decent breakfast and a good pool. Slightly old property. Room size is decent. Room service not available for late note bites.

It was a nice stay and family was very happy to be welcomed in proper sir lack an way. Staff was very hospitable and ready every time to serve their best.
