Sigiriana Resort by Thilanka

The rooms are not tidy no proper maintenance, no idea of my check in to the front desk until i arrived, location of resort is good.

The stay at sigriana resort was quite relaxing and the location was beautifully crafted to provide that relaxed atmosphere. The food tasted good. However, they should increase their menu options to cater to different countries guests.

This is not a comfortable stay for families. We stayed with 3 kids and we all are vegetarians. Before hand we told the resort to make sure food is arranged accordingly. For breakfast, it's heights of mismanagement. Bread was rotten, timing of breakfast ends at 9. 30, very very limited vegetarian options and the quality is very bad of food. All the staff in restaurant section do not speak or understand english. Overall our food experience was very bad and it's difficult especially when you are with kids.

Nice place to stay with family. Very close to Dambulla City center.

This hotel despite having a very good ambiance had very bad room service. If reception personnel were good and room service is probably the worst. It’s meant for Caucasians, not Indians. Since the staff just wouldn’t listen. Spent 2 days and after complaining the 2nd day for better somewhat. Would avoid this hotel at all costs. It’s full of mosquitoes. Unlimited mosquitoes.

The hotel has large spacious grounds with mango orchard and other trees. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The rooms were neat and clean.
