Hotel Cortezo

This hotel is very near to plaza mayor, Prado and Royal Palace. Location is so good that everything is just 15mins away from the hotel.

Rooms are not as shown in pictures.. Basic room is not even half the size of room shown. We booked a room for couple but we were given very small room with double single bed. When we complained about all these problems, the reply of manager was "It happens sometimes" and we don't have any other room available.

The hotel is centrally located in Madrid city with good connectivity to metro station and bus station. Also not very far from the Madrid Atocha Railway Station. The shopping street and the tourist Hop on Hop off bus station is at a 5 mins walking distance. However, the rooms are very small in size but are well maintained and clean. The staff at reception are very helpful and also allowed us early check-in. The missing part was the basic room amenities such as coffee machine (Kettle), not enough lights. Overall I am satisfied with my stay in hotel and can recommend this as a budget hotel.

Rooms are very small as compared to the price. Breakfast is not good at all with limited options. The hotel does not have restaurant. If you want to have something then go outside. However the staff is good. They are very polite and cooperative.
