Lovely Boutique Hotel

I had booked the Rouge on Rose Boutique Hotel for my parent’s recent trip to Cape Town. They have come back raving about the excellent hospitality shown to them by the staff. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable with great service. Great breakfast, and the staff took the time to share recommendations on places to see and eat at! Overall a great trip, we would definitely be coming back.
Good stay, small changes required

The stay was pleasant. People who manage the Rouge on Rose Boutique Hotel are really wonderful in their behavior and attitude. Would like to specifically mention about chris who cheered us up every morning during breakfast. I did not read the description well and found on arrival that there is no lift in the Rouge on Rose Boutique Hotel. So, you need to be fit enough to climb three floors if your room is on level 3. It is truly a boutique Rouge on Rose Boutique Hotel with just 9 well appointed rooms. What we did not like is the design of the suite. The only wash basin is inside the bed room, wc is a small tiny room with no exhaust and no door latch from outside. Shower is part of the bedroom with no door, not even a curtain. Another point is that they provided only two small bottles of water when we checked in and no replacement on the four days we stayed. They were selling bottles of a litre for zara 35 while it is available for zara 20 in a store just across the road. For the standard of the Rouge on Rose Boutique Hotel and the price we paid, they should provide at least two one litre bottles every day. But overall it was a good stay, nice location and good people around.
