DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cape Town - Upper Eastside

The hotel staff were amazing but the rooms were average. Less lights in the room and the washroom was small

The property is well located in front of the devil's peak. Shuttle service to v&a waterfront every 3 hours. A small grocery shop in front of. Breakfast was good. Had an issue with the door working for which needs to raise complaints 2-3 times but fixed lately. Overall a comfortable and memorable stay. As expected by hilt-on group of hotels.

Property is too good just a little far from v&a waterfront prime location but than also its worth staying here. Staff is too friendly, perfect hygiene, a good spread in breakfast with vegetarian options also, pool is also there just as topping for kids. Power cut is little bit issue in capetown. Its worth staying in double tree.

They charged us extra for parking

It was good. Hotel staff needs to be more professional and courteous. They were talking as if they are some prince or princess and world wouldn't survive if they be polite.
They gave me 2 queen beds and they said king size rooms were occupied. Gave me a view that was pathetic. Receptionist lied saying that all the rooms on the forth floor are on construction where as I met a group of people in the restaurant who were staying on the forth floor.

Hotels in South Africa don't give water bottles in room. You need to be the member of Hilton to get free water bottles. Other than this rooms were good. Food was OK. It was a decent room at very reasonable cost

Location good, food & service awesome, transportation facility great and the shop inside the hotel contained the basic necessities. From a safety perspective too the place was amazing. We liked our stay here

Centrally located hotel very close to the V&A waterfront. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to the waterfront. The breakfast spread is excellent and all staff members were very pleasant. You might have to pay an additional parking fee for your car but it's very reasonable. Has a really good gym.

We were first time travellers to SA and were travelling without any guided package Tours. We decided to book our own tour and hotels. Double tree was a good brand that we choose as this is a worldwide know chain of hotels. The overall experience at the hotel was very good and the safety was excellent.

The location of the property was good. However, the room was really very small. Basic amenities were not there. Parking was chargeable separately. There was no kind of view from the room. Just kind of bare walls of another building. Staff was quite friendly and always ready to assist.

We stayed in Doubletree for 3 nights. We had a very pleasant experience in the hotel and found the staff to be quick in their response to our requirements. The restaurant was nice. The drop and pickup to the V&A Waterfront was convenient. Makemytrip did not give us any offer for breakfast. We had a department store in the same complex and it was convenient to buy anything for the holiday from there. The location is the only drawback for the hotel. Drinking water was not provided in the rooms.

Rooms : OK. Location : Downtown. Parking 60 ZAR/day. Breakfast at 165 ZAR. Rooms fit the requirements of travel. Location - to be considered. Helpful front office and travel desk staff. Excellent free cookies at front desk. Overall, the best option for the price offered.

Drinking water not provided in room. To be bought if needed but coffee and tea facilities available. Some of the toiletries not provided. This cannot be a 4 star hotel. Room was small. Overall stay was okay.

Staff were very friendly and hospitable. Food was excellent. We had a great stay at DoubleTree by Hilton. There were several nice cafes situated near to Doubletree where you can have a nice morning breakfast. Hotel is situated very close to N2 highway. Overall had a nice and comfortable stay at DoubleTree.

We had a warm welcome, just loved the cookies, staff were very helpful and efficient. Shuttle was very helpful. Loved the place. Overall had a wonderful stay. Value for money, icing on the cake was the transfer arranged from the station to hotel. Very helpful.

This hotel is very nice. All service is nice inside the hotel. The cook and everything was perfect inside the hotel. When we are entered inside hotel, staff served me mock-tail which was very nice. I liked the mock-tail drink.
