Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo

It was absolutely horrible. I booked a king/twin bed room and the Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo denied me the same and gave me a single bed 40-50sqft room. Later they showed me that they have received a single bed room booking from their travel partner, which apparently is not MMT but some 3rd party. They did not even know what MMT was until I showed them my booking. I was disrespected at the reception when I asked them to help me out. The manager said he would not help me with anything and shouted at me in front of many foreigners. He mentioned that he’s only “being professional”. Had to wait until 5 in the afternoon till I finally checked in after paying extra over the already payed amount for a double bed room. Very unpleasant experience. The MMT service provider promised to resolve the issue in 15 mins however nothing has come of it yet. It’s already past 24 hours since my problem was reported to them. I still await a response from MMT

Hotel is at an excellent location. Very close to key landmarks of Rialto bridge, square and cathedral. It is also close to San Marco ferry station to catch ferries to and Murali, must visit for their glass work and lace work. Hotel has good, continental breakfast. Room size is decent, considering Venice standards. Place is also close to cafés and bars.

Excellent location, 1 min walk to piazza san marco, gondola ride from the Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo lobby and 10 min walk to rialto bridge. Request for a room near the lift.

It was a good Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo your stay in. Great location, near to major attraction. Located in center of Venice. Net and clear room, also staff were helpful. Nice place to stay in. The price range is also impressive. Wish you a pleasant stay in this Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo.

Very comfortable beds and great hospitality by the staff. Surely recommend others as well .
