A very good Hotel.
I read several reviews before embarking on mine and noticed that for whatever reason people stress very trivial negative points. Probably it is because these are the "never satisfied" kind of people???
The hotel is indeed newly re-done and all is good. The room size by Venetian standards is ample. Bathroom was first designed then done. I could not find any substantial flaws here. I would probably would want my bathroom at home done at same level of thought and quality.
True, the lack of light in the rooms is evident, but you have to remember that you are in Venice. Room lighting is sufficient.
Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Checkin and checkout were as painless as one would want them to be.
Breakfast was sufficient and coffee was great. I did notice that someone wrote about the lack of tables. Well, get there earlier and all your problems will be solved. Or walk out of the Hotel and get a bite to eat on the way to your destination. Plenty of spots for that.
The only negative moment, if you want to call this a negative - is inability to find the place the first time. I wish the Hotel would have this worked out either by placing directional signs or meeting the guests (provided the guests would call upon their arrival to Rialto).
Otherwise, a great stay.

This hotel was perfect for our vacation, great location, beautiful decor, breakfast spot on. Value for money just perfect and will definitely make a return. Highly recommended by myself and a happy wife????.

Best hotel in Venice
This hotel was perfect. It was clean and comfortable and in the perfect location. Everything was really close by.
The staff were extremely helpful and were polite and courteous every time you saw them.
We stayed when there was a mini heat wave. Unfortunately the Air con was not working, however the staff managed to get us a big fan that cooled the room right down. We were really grateful.
Next door to the hotel is a bar and on a Friday night this can get a bit loud. We didn’t mind this at all and you couldn’t really hear the noise from our rooms.
The hotel has a tiny lift to get you up to your rooms.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Venice

Central location, very clean a....
First trip to Venice. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel as it is very central, has friendly and helpful staff, and the rooms are clean and modern. Ideal for 2 people staying. 2 star rating is misleading.
The public waterbus from the airport is an excellent way to travel to the hotel when arriving. Take the Orange Line for 15 Euros from the airport and it will take you down the Grand Canale to the picturesque Rialto Bridge. The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the stop.
The hotel staff ask for your card details on arrival for pre-authorisation of bill. They also record your passport details.
The rooms are very comfortable and modern with new bathrooms. Air conditioning worked well too.
Breakfast is good, including meats, eggs, croissants, bread, cereal... and tea and coffee. One seat at each table is awkward to sit on though!
You might be worried initially by the small bar beside the hotel, but we were glad that the noise would always stop by 11pm latest, when Venetian noise laws are enforced apparently...
An enjoyable stay and would return!

Heartless management of hotel
I booked this hotel wrongly by mixing it up with a hotel at a different location. I was in the middle of preparations for a wedding on a short notice. When I realised my mistake the management choose not to refund a single cent!!! Really? Venice the city of romance??? No compassion at all! I was in a different country and could have not been possibly going there. I would advice to give this hotel a big miss!!!
