Very accomodating hotel
This hotel is absolutely great. The staff are excellent and more than helpful. The hotel itself was excellent and is very central as well as very clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. They are very knowledgeable and more than helpful to tell you where to shop and eat

Clean hotel in a good location....
My friend and I stayed in this hotel on the last leg of a 3 week Italian extravaganza. The hotel was nice and clean, in a great location near: subway lines A & B, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Barberini, the Spanish Steps, etcetera. The staff were very helpful and made local phone calls for us.
The only thing I would change about my stay at this hotel was the extra costs for breakfast, which is served offsite, down the street and leaves much to be desired (unless you happen to like mediocre coffee and stale croissants). It's not worth spending the extra money, but the hotel itself is nice.

The shower from hell lives in ....
This hotel was chosen for us by our travel agent but I have to say it really didn't do it for me. I am not often harsh in my reviews but this place was primitive. We were up in some sort of bizarre attic which we were astonished to find we were sharing with some other random guests! The only way to get any privacy or security was to lock ourselves in our bedroom with a key, which in my opinion was a dangerous fire hazard.
Unlike every other hotel we stayed at in Italy, breakfast was not on site. We had to walk to a local cafe with a coupon supplied by the hotel where we were given a choice of 3 set breakfasts, all inedible. After the first experience we didn't return and we're forced to pay for breakfast in other cafes.
The decor was dated at best - I'm taking padded walls & doors here. My teenagers pointed out that the furnishings were similar to some of the 16th century palaces we visited - fine if that's what you're after I suppose!
The shower was woeful. It was tiny, absolutely tiny - and the taps so weird we had to ask the manager how to turn it on. Even once we learned how to turn it on the water was either scalding or freezing and the water pressure pathetic. My daughter was in tears over not being able to rinse the shampoo out of her hair with the trickle from the tap. It made for a very unpleasant start to each day.
There were no staff I could see. The wifi did not work at all in our room and was patchy in the common areas. Suffice to say we were glad to leave this hotel and would suggest you stay elsewhere.

The staff were so helpful, nothing was a bother to them. They made phone calls for us and contacted our travel agent when we needed help. Just amazing people. They gave us detailed instructions about getting about. What else can I say.

The rooms were very clean and organized, not very big, Internet was ok also in the rooms.
Reception isn’t available at all times, from 07:00-23:00. You have a phone number of someone in the building if you need something afterwards.
Hot water was so-so. There were hours which there wasn’t hot water at all, the hotel explained that it happens at times when a lot of people uses the hot water together, so they need to reheat.
Staff was nice and tried to help with everything we needed.
