Perfect place to stay
We loved staying at B&B Ventisei Scalini and would highly recommend it for those wanting an authentic experience of Rome. With your own key to the entrance you'll feel like a local. Lucia is excellent with communication and very quick to respond and to follow up on any requests. Miguel kept our rooms in tip top shape and showed us super service. The location is perfect for walking around all of Rome. The area is packed with lively restaurants and very good food. Breakfast, lunch, dinner - all is available in the area. Just in front of the B&B there's a restaurant with very good pizza. And around the corner you can get slices of pizza until 2 a.m. which would be much appreciated if you have a late arrival.
We will definitly stay at the Ventisei Scalini again!
Grazie tantissimo Lucia! Tanti saluti anche a Miguel.

Nice and comfy stay in Rome
“The room was clean and comfy, breakfast options were good. The neighborhood is amazing, location is very good. The hosts, Paolo and Lucia are kind and caring hosts. Everything you can possibly need during your visit was previously provided. In my case, it was a rainy weekend there, and there was an umbrella in the room :) Also there was a map, and the host explains this to you and provides a recent magazine for the events in Rome.”

Close tot he University and Ni....
This was our second time staying here as a small student group visiting John Cabot University. It was very convenient. The roads are very narrow here, if arriving in a large airport van, it may have to drop you off a few steps away as the van could not go down the alleys. There is a great pizzeria directly across from your front door. Make note of the city tax, and late fee if arriving late. Use the airport WiFi to send a message or call to let them know your coming (if you don't have an active SIM card, and they'll be waiting for you with happy faces. This is like a very nice private hostel. All the amenities one needs, hairdryer, daily breakfast. Towels changed every three days, but daily cleaning of the rooms. If you are traveling on a budget and want to be close to it all, this is a great spot. The only negative I have, is not about the place itself, but more about the area. This neighborhood has a very lively night life, so if you like quiet at night, you may find it difficult as people are hopping in and out of nearby restaurants and bars until about 2-3am. As a student group and young travelers, we would definitely stay here again and hope to do so for a third time next year.

The place you want to go back ....
This is a small guest house, but quite cozy and quiet. We were met at the arrival at 11.00 am and everything was told and shown. The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay: its own bathroom, coffee machine and refrigerator in the room, a common kitchen and many different cutlery. And also free Wi-Fi. The breakfast is quite varied and everyone will find something to their liking. The room is clean and always cleaned. Bedding and towels are changed every 3 days. However, it is worth noting that in February it was pretty cool and for the tiled floor you need slippers.
In general, there were only positive impressions from the hotel.
Rome is an eternal city, not because it is old, but because it is always relevant.

Excellent Budget Place
It's an excellent place for the money. Quiet location, but still reasonably centrally located. The host is very pleasant and the breakfast on offer was more than we were expecting, especially in the off-season.
