Great experience at the Aureli....
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is clean & cozy and has everything one needs. Breakfast is nice and fresh. The location is good and relatively quiet if you are not looking to reside right at the center of town. The art gallery at the lobby is awesome!! Restaurant Ferro & Ghisa is across the road and is excellent. A+++ VERY RECOMENDED

We are currently staying here and this is our last night in Rome. This is a great, recommendable place to stay, clean, spacious, very well organized. The staff is polite and helpful. Breakfast buffet is good, with a pretty big sortiment reaching from all kinds of cereal, fruit, pastries to eggs, sausage, bread aso. One thing needs to be criticized though: some guests just reserve tables for other guests who in our case showed up 45 minutes later...which is impertinent due to the fact that the restaurant is very small. Maybe the hotel needs to attach an information to the wall not allowing reservations of that kind. The very friendly gentleman working at the restaurant has to be mentioned at this point for his awesome service. The position of the hotel is OK, there is a mini market around the corner, a nice steak restaurant across the street and the bus 916 will take you anywhere! Next time we are going to be in Rome, this will be our first choice!

Convenient location but needs ....
Positives: Location, the metro is just around the corner and there is a good selection of restaurants and convenient stores nearby. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. Breakfast is nice and good value.
Negatives: All the furnishings in the room is quite old and needs an upgrade, especially the beds. You can feel every spring when you lay down on the bed and the twin bed is the narrowest bed that I've ever slept in. The room was also too hot and the air-con doesn't work properly.

WE LOVED IT
My wife and I went to Italy for our honeymoon, and this was our first hotel on our trip. We chose it off of the majority of excellent reviews, the budget, location, amenities, looks, and because of the straight-forward poetics that they do when they reply to these Trip Advisor's reviews. :) (Seriously - we were reading the review replies and having a hearty laugh when researching for our honeymoon)
The staff was super friendly and welcoming even though we arrived in a stressful/tired/flurry from FCO. We were running a bit late on our schedule, and the front desk gentleman kindly, quickly yet clearly, helped us out on how to get to the Coliseum easily & quickly. They also so graciously upgraded us to a suite room. (Goodness that room was amazing! Stay in that room if you can!) The entire staff spoke great English as well FYI.
Amenities: we loved their breakfast spread - great selection. One can eat an Italian breakfast if desired, and one can eat something more safe and basic as well. The waiter, was very hospitable and friendly as well. All the hotel was very clean. The wi-fi worked great.
Interior-wise we loved the art gallery vibes it had everywhere. Very beautiful tile floors as well. Definitely has that Roman touch. Their pictures on their website & here are accurate. The breakfast area gets filled, so if you're very introvert or not looking to be near people, that's something to consider.
Location-wise it is FANTASTIC! Very close to the Metro like others have mentioned. THERE IS AN AMAZING GELATO PLACE around the corner - run by the sweetest young lady - affordable, great selection, and TASTY! There's a good pizza buffet/convenience store/cafe nearby as well. (be aware some pizzas have tuna - that was quite a shock to us hah) A couple of cheap souvenir/items you forgot type stores. A McDonalds if you're into that sort of vacation...There are 2 indoor bank ATMs within 5-10 minutes walking as well. It isn't in a quiet spot of Rome though, so if have a severe phobia of busy traffic and whatnot that might not be great for you....
Don't forget to sign the fun guestbook upon check-out ;)
Would definitely recommend and stay at again! - Lovers from Oklahoma

Stayed at this hotel for a long weekend with my husband. The room and bathroom were lovely and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was very easy and informative. Only five minutes from metro station so very easy to get around to various sites of interest. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
