The Rani Hotel & Spa

After booking, we reached the location and the receptionist said that the hotel is fully booked and he didn’t receive any booking and i asked him to show their booking details and he refused and later he said he will take us to their second hotel and i resisted. He later gave us a twin bed room though there were 5 king size bedrooms that were available

It is one of the worst hotels i have ever been to! if you are visiting bali on vacation, do not stay here. Here are the problems i encountered which ruined my first bali trip ever: 1) our check-in was 2 pm but our room wasn't ready until 2:30pm. 2) our room key was not working until the next day. 3) the room had a musty moldy smell. 4) the toilet was dirty and had urine on the seat. 5) the sink tap was stiff and spilled water outside when turned on. 6) shower curtains were so dirty as if they had not been changed or cleaned in ages. 7) towels and linen were dirty and yellow stains on them. When we asked to change them, the hotel staff said, "let me check if there are any clean towels" after a very long time, they brought 8-9 hand towels and body towels but only 2 of them were mediocre clean. 8) there were mosquitoes, lizard in the room and rats around the pool. 9) there isn't enough light in the room or bathroom so can't really get ready. 10) worst of all, as i was taking shower, the water suddenly turned black. When we called the hotel staff and was finally able to get in touch with manager for ongoing issues, she said "the pump was turned off. You are not supposed to use water for a few hours (as if we were informed" when we brought these issues to the senior staff, they mentioned that we should have raised these earlier so we could be upgraded to a better room. However, we had already raised these multiple times, since the time we had arrived, but to no real resolution. All in all, it was a pathetic hotel stay and i would not recommend this place to anyone.

Staff was not polite & coordinating, very foggy rooms, different types of insects in the room, no jain food for breakfast

The positive point of this hotel is the walkable distance from the beach. An indian hotel with good food is nearby. Complimentary breakfast is very good.

Very nice hotel stay experience. especially Hotel manager Putra was very helpful & all staff especially sundaramini at the coffee shop were very nice.
